Chapter ninety eight

I sat down and began to think but no idea came to mind on what to do. "Maybe there is the help we can reach?" Alex said.

"Who?" I asked. "I don't think the authorities can do anything about this," I added.

"Not the authorities but Mr. Cranston," Alex said.

"What? Who the hell is that?" I asked Alex. "He used to be our rival in the mafia but turned into our partner. I think he can help. I'm sure he still gates our mother and will do anything to bring her down." Alex explained.

"No-no-no Alex. I do not want to get involved with a gang." I instantly said. "Even the thought of it is horrible. This could turn out very bad for us." I said.

"Do you have any better ideas?" Alex asked me, his arms folded across his chest as he waited for my answer.

"No." I hesitantly replied.

"Which means we are going with my idea," Alex said. To that, I remained silent.

Alex came closer to me and put his arms around me, hugging me, "don't worry Tamira. Everything is going to be fine." he said to me.
