Alex POV:

Devon left the room and I was left to face my brother, "what was all that?" Xavier asked me.

"All what?" I questioned back.

"Don't play dumb with me Alex. What was it that you were going to tell that houseboy?" Xavier said.

"To tell the houseboy something? What would I tell him? Just what would I tell him? Devon just finished with the toilet and was about to leave before you came in." I said to Xavier.

I walked passed Xavier and was just about to step foot in my room when I felt him pull me back and slam me against the wall beside the bathroom door.

"Don't you dare lie to me brother. Speak up!" Xavier ordered.

I looked away from his face, "whatever I was going to say has nothing to do with you or our mother so back off!" I pushed him away from myself.

"It's none of your business," I added and went for the bathroom exit.
