The students surrounded the sparring arena and waited for the first student to get their butt kicked by Marya. Marya was ready to kill everyone, it was evident from her face. She put her sword against a rock, even though there were simps to carry it for her. She stretched voraciously like a demon.

"I don't want to fight her," Gunther whispered into Argus’ ears. "Be careful with her. She might break your bones and you would have to miss a significant amount of lectures as you would be spending your time in the hospital."

"Oh, is that so? Then…" Argus took a glance at her and his lips twisted to form a smile. "I would like to spar with her."

"Are you mad?" Gunther could not comprehend what this guy thought. “You better accept your defeat in the first fall if you are going to really fight her. She would not stop until you do it,” he tried to advise him.

"Why do you fear her so much? Is she that strong? She doesn’t look so,” said Argus, casually.

"She is definitely stronger than any of us," Gunther replied.

Argus stepped ahead and entered the arena. Marya glared at him while she stretched out. Argus crossed his arms and just waited for her to finish. It pissed her off as she thought he was mocking her. He did not seem to take her seriously.

"You better accept your defeat on your first fall or I won't show mercy on you," She told him with a scowl.

"Of course, I know this, but before we start, I want to ask you one thing," Argus said and paused for a second to take a better look at the master whose face had a smirk as he had set up Argus against Marya for her to show him his place. "Are you going to imagine me as Argus Devonte Albus while fighting?" He asked her.

"Why do you ask? Do you have a death wish?" She asked and clutched her fist.

"Can't you have a normal expression on your face? Have you ever smiled?" Argus said with an annoyed face, his hands holding his waist. He realized she did not take it sportingly.

"He really has a death wish." The students muttered among themselves.

"He wants to die."

"Hey, stop the chat and start the fight," The master said.

"I would request one thing from you before starting it," Argus said to Marya when she was about to take her stance. "Imagine me as Argus Devonte Albus."

"I will gladly fulfill your death wish," She replied and took her stance. She had her feet pointed forward, thighs parallel to the floor, with the buttocks pushed out, and the back arched up to keep the upper body from leaning forward.

Argus smiled when he examined her stance, and yawned which irritated her more. "It seems I have no choice but to get serious," He said in a casual manner.

"Come to me, I will give you the first chance to hit," She said.

"Sure…" Argus approached her casually without a guard as if he walked in a park. He had his body wide open with his hands hanging as it is. Marya thought of many ways he could attack her, but he just stood against her with a smile.

"What happened? Aren't you going to attack, or are you scared?" She said when she noticed he did not seem to take the first offence, which resulted in his smile widen even more. "You should not have opted to fight first if you were this big of a scaredy cat," she added, mockingly.

At the very moment she said it, she received a hit in the jaw. It was as if something appeared out of nowhere and hit her. She got pushed back a few steps after receiving the hit.

"What did just happen?" She uttered with her eyes widened in shock and confusion while holding her cheek. She could not comprehend what just happened.

The other students had all of their eyes expanded in perplexity as they could not watch clearly what had transpired, only saw the aftereffects when Marya got pushed back. "What did just happen? Did she receive a punch to her face?" Someone guessed.

The master had clearly seen what happened. "Such fluid movements… We don't teach those movements to our students. Just who is this boy?" He thought, staring at the smirking face of Argus.

He had watched him bending one of his knees forward, bending his waist and punching through her guard at a lightning speed.

Marya had not taken a blow to her face for a long time. To think that a mere newcomer had hit her face was making her mad in fury. She could not comprehend his movements completely either which made her even more irritated and furious.

She turned her face and looked at Argus whose casual stance had not changed at all. "What happened? Why did you lose your balance? I haven't even moved," He said with a smile which irked her badly.

Marya clenched her fist tightly and jumped at him. Argus pulled himself and hopped back in reflex. "Hey, don't get angry. I know the face is most important for a girl…" As he spoke, she swung a kick towards his head. He ducked and jumped back further to maintain a distance. "I swear I am sorry."

"Sorry would get you nowhere!" She groaned and jumped at him again. He turned and started running around, getting her to chase him around. "Stop running around and face me!" She shouted.

"Who would face a demon like you?" He replied, continuing his run. The students all laughed at this.

Someone watched all this from the first floor of the principal academy building. It was the headmaster who watched them spar with his attendant.

"Master, Marya is as skilled as her elder sister,” the headmaster’s attendant said.

The attendant thought the headmaster must praise his daughter when watching her chase that boy, just like a predator chases its prey.

"Isn’t he the boy whom…?" The headmaster spoke, his eyes fixated at Argus running around like a clown.

"Him? Master, he is the boy whom you received the instructions about," said the attendant.

The headmaster stared at the boy for a while and said, “Let’s go.”

“Go? But where, master?” asked the attendant in confusion. “There is no meeting for you to attend today.” The headmaster did not listen to him and walked away. He had no choice but to follow him as it was his job. “Wait, master, I am coming.”

Marya got more and more pissed as she chased Argus. No matter how fast she ran, she could not get close to him. It seemed like there was some mysterious force pushing her away from him.

"If you don't want to fight, just accept your defeat!" She shouted.

Argus suddenly halted his steps when he heard it. "Oh, right? Can I do that? In that case," He turned and bowed his head. "I have lost. I accept my defeat."

She was taken aback at first at his sudden acceptance of defeat, but after a moment gritted her teeth and shouted again, "I won't let you get off the hook this easily!"

"She is angry now. Now only God can save him from her," The students murmured. They knew it was game over when she is pissed.

As she was about to jump at him again…

"Stop, Marya!" They heard a familiar voice. She paused midway and immediately bowed her head as the person who spoke was none other than her father, the headmaster.

Master Wrath and all the students bowed their heads as well. The headmaster walked to Argus and Marya.

"If someone accepts his defeat, we don't attack them," He said to his daughter.

Marya glared at Argus for she was not ready to let him off the hook so easily for touching her face and challenging her position as the strongest. She picked up her sword with a sour face and walked away without looking back.

"What is your name?" The headmaster asked Argus.

"Alan Booney, master," Argus answered, this time his full name at once.

"Alan, I want you to meet me in my chamber after your day at the academy is over." The headmaster walked away followed by his attendant.

Argus looked at Gunther with a clueless face who too looked equally clueless. The other students guessed maybe he would get browbeaten by the old man for hitting his daughter’s face.
