Chapter Fifty Three
Emily got back home to face the trivia of her planned marriage.

Her Father realized she ran away. They had to settle everything right from that very beginning.

"You are not going to run away again," her father said.

Emily smirked and she nodded without saying a word. Later on, she retired to her room feeling numb, and helpless. All she could remember was scribbling her signature on those thick printed papers. She had to harden her heart.

She felt like a mess, and she showered again. She washed away her fears, her pains and regrets.

When she came out with her robe, she found some ladies waiting.

"Hello, Emily," one of them uttered.

"I thought I did all of this before?" She uttered.

This is different.

"We are sorry we came late. Please sit, we don't have enough time," she added.

She couldn't speak.
