Chapter Thirty Nine

“You should not be there saying things that aren't true. Who knows? The people you think who are not part are even the leaders,” Alice uttered.

Christian stared at her without saying a word. He walked around aimlessly.

“I don't care, you should know that,” he replied and walked out.

“Damn, he left,” Alice regretted.

After a moment of realization, Alice ran out quickly in an attempt to still have a conversation with Christian.

She took wide strides of steps and ran at some point.

“Christian! Christian!,” She called out while breathing heavily from the short sprint.

Christian was about moving into his car.

“What?” He sounded pissed.

“You should not leave just like that. I know that things are not going just great, but we could have a random important conversation,” she pleaded.

“No, Alice. I don't need to rub my body with such things at the moment. I'm not even in the mood to have to argue about certain things I'm not even ready for. I need to go,” he added and jumped into his car.
