Listening to the voice of announcements coming from the loudspeakers all around the city while observing all those people trying to reach their homes, I left the guild building, putting a cloak over my head.

Since the city is in a state of chaos, the order is slightly messed up. However, it is just ‘slightly’ messed up. The fact that all those people are returning to their homes and preparing a shelter for those who entered the city for just a daily business itself shows the city management knows how to deal with those types of situations.

Although an S-rank gate is rare, the fact that they are even prepared for that and not panicked shows the difference between the countries. If it was the Raikan Kingdom, even in their Capital, the S-rank gate would deal a tremendous amount of damage since the citizens were all uneducated at that point.
