After making that decision, I didn't wait for long and poured down some healing potions on Kevin, finally making him breathe in relief.

Because of the torture he had suffered until now, there was no power left in his body, and he was staring at me with dead eyes.

Deep fear and a little rage swirling in them.

"Are you feeling relieved? Don't worry, I will give you a gift for the torture you suffered."

Those words made his body convulse while sitting, but I ignored him, turned around, and gestured for Daphne to come in.

Noticing me calling her, Daphne took a moment to gather up strength in her legs, but eventually she struggled and came in.

"Bleh-"

The stench of blood and flesh almost made Daphne vomit, but remembering that she was with me, she held herself together, covered her mouth, and stood beside me while looking towards Kevin, who was similarly looking at her with dead eyes as an even greater dread appeared in his heart.

"Daphne, meet your fiancée." I pointed toward Kevin
