Chapter 54

After working the whole day, Levi returned home and fell on his bed. He sat up and then took the invitation in his hand again.

"It's tomorrow. I guess I'll be skipping work," he said and put the invitation aside.

Levi fell asleep and ended up sleeping more than he expected. When he woke up he checked the time and saw that it was eight thirty AM.

"Oh shit!" he cursed.

Levi got up quickly and had a quick shower before throwing on some clothes to match the event.

"So much for first impressions matter," he said to himself as he watched his wristwatch and realized he had five minutes left.

Levi put on some perfume and locked his front door before driving off into his car.

After arriving in front of Sultan's mansion, Levi checked his time again and he was five minutes late.

The gates were opened and Levi was allowed to drive in.

After getting down from his car, Levi was met with a hug from Laila, "Welcome! I hope you brought my gift." Laila said, excited to see Levi.
