"Are you sure of what you are saying?" Antonio asked her. Isabella nodded.

"I'll have to confirm," he said, and she moved close to him and showed him the documents with Ferdinand's signature.

Antonio stared at it for a while. Ferdinand could be an enigmatic man sometimes, but he did not see this one coming.

Isabella was telling the truth. He had given her part of the testimony, but he did not know about her.

"So what about me?" Daniel said it impatiently, his heart getting ready to burst open.

"I'll probably get something better," he said ignorantly. "I guess I won his heart before he died," he continued.

"I'm just so glad that you never got the chance to see me cry the way I did before him," he added.

Declan just looked at him and nodded. This was not new to him. Daniel had always been so pathetic.
