Samantha stayed throughout the whole process. Declan had suggested that the bullet be retrieved. He would decide on a physiotherapist when he was discharged from the hospital.
Three years was the minimum time the doctor had said that his movement would be restored. Before that, he would be confined to a wheelchair.
The procedure had been so painful for him and at the end of the day, a large amount of pain relief was administered to him. Declan would not let Samantha out of his sight.
