"It was a heart attack. We tried but we could not save him. I am so sorry", the doctor said slowly, counting his words as he broke the news of their grandfather's death.
Daniel and Declan had both driven to the hospital and headed for the ward immediately.
Declan bowed his head as he heard the news. He had been entertaining bad news since the previous day.
"Thank you so much for everything doctor", Daniel replied curtly. His tone was bland. He was neither sad nor excited and at that point, Declan wanted to punch him in the face.
