Ferdinand watched Daniel as he made his way to the counter. He took down his hoodie and looked around with wary eyes before he ordered his food.
He soon headed to a table at the far end of the restaurant and sat with his back to everyone else. Ferdinand's eyes did not leave him as he ate silently and tapped away on a phone.
In a swift movement, Daniel turned and their gaze met for a few seconds. Ferdinand looked away very quickly, and Daniel turned around again.
When he was done eating, he stood up immediately and headed for the door. Ferdinand took the last sip of his drink and headed out immediately, following after him quietly.
