Chapter 52

“Thank you, Marilyn” Vera said, grateful that the woman trusted her.

Vera had always thought Marilyn was too good for Anderson, but she had never had the guts to voice out that thought.

Something had always looked off about their marriage, Vera could perceive it, try as they may to hide it.

Marilyn and Anderson were what people would call a celebrity couple, always at an event grinning at each other from ear to ear and holding hands like letting go would be hurt.

But she knew these things a little too much for her in good. She had found it interesting that a good percentage of the community of elite couples was on this too.
