“Be on your toes,” Fabby reminded him as a warning.“I’m already on my toes,” as Edgar said, something whizzed past him and pierced his sister, making her cry out loud.A pain of a thousand mosquitoes biting her shoulder at once wouldn’t even describe the amount of pain Fabby felt right now. Leo Baker was the first to reach the other side of the Whispering Woods where there was a wonderful lake.Ryu Reyes, Anarga Utsav, Missi Dardu, Rufai Ghaws, Sinta Sonic, and Kennie Spie arrived seconds later. After Noob appeared behind her, Fabby almost immediately jumped away, but a tree root burst out of Noob’s finger and pierced through her belly. More tree roots burst out of his fingers and flew at her like hungry, living snakes.Edgar used the Flash Step to cover the distance in a fraction of a second. Though everyone crossed the lake, Melita from the Honeywell sect was still standing on the side of the Whispering Woods. Why didn’t her sect members not reach there yet?
