Did you know that life is funny and most of the time cute? It has been 4 years now since I have been enlisted to this family even though my mum earns money legit through software making but behind the scenes are the drugs and weapons she is in control of.

 My mum does not encourage trafficking of women, children nor men but kidnapping seems a bit legit. You may be wondering if I have had my first kill and my answer will be Yes.

It is a culture that if you are to be accepted into the family and me as her son I must kill five rats meaning those who tries to expose mum's secret to the outside world since mum owns the NYPD and the CIA or MI6 or any intelligence agency cannot attack though their do not know her Identity nor her face expect I, Mr. Banks and few people who she trust a lot.

My mum is a ghost and she also taught me how to be since I am her son, the surprising part is she freely exposed secret information to me without thinking.  And yes! she has everything I have desired in a mother not food not wealth but parental love.

Currently, I am schooling because any Pace family must be educated to keep the family going as mum used to say “the gun is not the path but the knowledge and the gun is the path we need.”

Let me share one more secret, my mom kidnapped Albert Almond, and 10 other great minds to build her a powerful AI. I know you feel like it is impossible. It is 2003 but trust me it is real. She calls it “The Queen”. Royalty is cool. Through this mom will notice any one or threat coming our way inside or outside it was only imbibed in Mom's, Luca-Head of security , Mr. Banks. Elephant don’t actually like the name. He hates that his name is pronounce wrongly and you are dead in seconds. Only mom pronounce his name any how she likes. Well, Elephant is our tech wizard. No hacker or cyber whatever can pass through him and did I tell you we both love video games?

Next on the top seven to access the Queen is Alexa the damned of all assassins she the one mom sends to kill the untraceable, and the tough guys e.g. ignorant journalist.

Now sixth one on the list is the Baggy man, though we call him that not because he was baggy though he loves baggy and he and I are cool, most times I love running on missions with him when I sneak out of School, he never tells on me like Luca. He runs the drugs, weapons and controls New York city NYPD or any security agency, news agency etc. for mummies.

Lastly, I am the seventh one whose DNA can access the Queen though I never used it before and do not plan to expect mom to ask me to. Besides I am still new here so let me leave the grown ups while I focus on my studies.

To let you one a big secret, I have never felt safe like I do with mom, though we do have gun exchange but I have a family who support and back me up.

Let me gist you, May 12th,2001 I was kidnapped by an Arab terrorist who in turn asked mom for ransom or they will kill me.At first I thought they wanted to kill me because in movies when bad guys are caught in their group, they are seen as liabilities who may in turn be rats. 

Besides I had a feeling in heart to be abandoned, I said to myself "she will find another heir," I am just a loose end but good luck found me, I laughed and the terrorist were confused and I said “The Calvary is here”

“Yes baby” Baggy replied as he walked in.

“Andrew, Get down, did you think we will leave you hang here? I still miss playing with you” Alexa said holding a rocket in an airplane.

Let me Just say this, don’t freak out but they came to rescue me on a moving airplane trust me at first I thought it was crazy but at the end I said what the hell. Baggy man strapped himself while Alexa fired the rocket and we all parachuted to our ship. Bye! Bye!! Terrorist. I can never forget that day.

We landed and everyone bowed to me as shocking as it was mom was so calm and drank lemonade. I know it is weird but don’t let me hint you on any more because despite the love and respect we all have for each other, we are all writers especially Elephant who eats a lot why typing with five set of keyboard at a time even I can't beat that.

Remember this our little secret don’t let him know about it because he will find out if I add lots of hyperbole to beat him in video games though I am not bad actually but, come to think of it how do you expect to defeat a tech wizard who can operate six computers at a time and still defeat you in video game. It is so cool isn't it?

What do you define as family? Some of you may say it is a group of people related by blood or have a common ties as true as they are but that isn’t often always true as I define as forsaken, forgotten, regrets, outcast, Misfit, who are brought together for one single purpose that is stick together as one. This is who the hearts are. Am I saying there are no betrayal? No, there are but since I joined them we have each learnt to forgive and if it is beyond renewable trust we exile them but they are still one of us whether the point is far or near, strange or not strange, powerful or not powerful, rich or not we are all one.

It is often said Crime has an end but I seem to go against such ideology because the Pace have been running New York from its set up yet have never been identified as its ring leader or should I say decision maker.
