CHAPTER 28 DEATH

A man in his fifties was sitting in a room lit only by the glow of the fireplace.

In his hand was a shot glass filled with Cragganmore 12 with a high alcohol content. He was drowning in the bitterness of his past that had left him with a broken heart.

"Jillian Marcos." His other hand seemed to be rubbing the surface of a photo figurine of a beautiful brown-haired woman with a gentle smile and amber irises. "Why do you prefer that lowly bodyguard? Don't you know that I love you very much?"

He was Jason Falcon, the main heir of the Falcon family. His life was only dedicated to revenge and spreading hatred especially towards the Marcos family.

"You must be at peace in your death." Jason laughed with a grin. "I was kind enough to send your first born to keep you company."

He brought the shot glass to his mouth. The hot liquid felt like it was flowing down his throat, then he threw the small glass at the wall until it shattered on the floor.
