Andrew turned his head in the direction of the voice. His eyes immediately sharpened at the sight of the man who was his rival for Roselyn.

“You? What are you doing here?” Andrew squinted his eyes, especially since the suit Edward was wearing looked very ordinary. “Aren't you a poor man, how can you be at a high-class banquet like this?”

Edward smiled faintly then extended his hand first, shaking hands with Andrew, and said coldly, “I came here to accompany you, Roselyn. I am her husband.”

The tension in the air instantly rose in the courtyard in front of Diamond Heights Palace. Andrew's face turned pale at Edward's words. He never expected that Roselyn would choose to marry Edward.

Briel leaned toward Alan and pulled him back. “What do you mean by introducing Roselyn to Andrew?”

“I wanted to put a strain on Edward and Roselyn's relationship, after all, back in college Andrew had pursued Roselyn and Edward knew about it.” Alan explained in a whisper.
