Chapter 13. ON THE BILLBOARD

A sedan car was traveling at a moderate speed on the city streets. Roselyn, who was sitting in it with Edward, had a glow on her face.

"Are you happy, Roselyn?" asked Edward.

"Of course, Edward. If you had not told me about Marcosta's company advertisement, perhaps this day would never have arrived for me. I feel that my life is much better. Thank you, Edward."

"Of course."

Roselyn forgot about her divorce plans with Edward. Right now her focus was on her success in securing Marcosta's cooperation and company.

All the family members had gathered back in the hall. They were waiting for the arrival of Roselyn and Briel to bring the good news about the cooperation with the Marcosta company.

They were anxious because neither Roselyn nor Briel had provided any information about the partnership.

"It's definitely Briel who got the deal," Carol, Briel's mother, said proudly, giving Lily a condescending look.
