Chapter 28

A foggy figure stood right before Jim. His face glistened with wonder as he could barely recognize the man that was his father.

Yet, the connection that fostered between them was one of a father and a child.

Jim could feel his breath somewhat heavy, and his chest heavy with bricks. The confusion was beyond anything that he felt before.

Because he never had a dream about his father before. However, his eyes glittered with emotions.

His longing for his parents, and the sight of the one that seemed to be him seemed to want to tear his being apart.

"Father!" The words flustered from his lips once again, this time, soft, and smoothing.

"Jim! It's been a while. I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you. And walk you through everything that you need to know.

I'm sorry that I had to task you with your Grandfather!" The words rang multiple times in Jim's ears.
