REVENGE AND LOST

“You have to circulate the entire area right now,” Richard said with a touch of hurry in his voice, lockng eyes with the detective.

“This is not your turf, tell me exactly what is going on or else none of my men will do nothing,” he answered, still remaining stubborn and unyielding with no sign of backing down.

His words put Richard in an even more difficult position, as each second passing only spelt danger for Elijah. It only meant that his chance of redemption is sweeping past him faster than he could imagine.

“You have to trust me, please.”

He resorted to pleading if plain asking would not work out as he planned.

However, sooner did his worst nightmare come upon him like a tsunami with no control.

“Trust? Hell no!” the detective retorted with no time wasting, his upper lips curling into a sneering smile, “Let me ask you a question, Mr. Morgan,” he continued with his lips relaxed and his attention solely fixed on Richard in a sterner manner.
