“ What are you talking about?” Elijah furrowed his brows.

“ What I meant is that Daniel, Damien and one other unknown man is responsible for the loss of your memory” Cory repeated.

“ And who is the unknown man?” Elijah inquired but Cory shook his head, indicating that he knows nothing about the man and who he is.

“ How do you know about it, Cory?”

“ I— overheard Daniel speaking with your cousin Damien” Cory explained and Elijah exhaled. The information which has just been revealed to him was just too much for his head to process.

How could his cousin do such a thing to him?

“ That explains the reason why Daniel hates me so much even when I was still the son in law of the Payton family “ Elijah explained and shoved his fingers into his hair, but the ringing of his phone distracted him so he took it out and picked up the call.

“ Hello, who is this?” Elijah asked.

“ Are you Elijah West?” A strange masculine voice asked from the other end of the phone.

“ Yes I am. What can I do for you?”
