An Old Bird and A Bread Cutter

" Ice dragon? "  Benjamin repeated it.

" Your wings are similar to their wings and your hair turned to white. That's why I said it. Because all you resemble is Ice. "Mr Clerk explained.

"Benjamin, you should first tie up your hair. It's all over you " Kevin said. 

Benjamin also had that idea. He collected all the hair that had spread all over his body and tied it up into a high bun. That's when they saw another thing. The back of his neck had a mark. It's a symbol of a serpent. It was like a tattoo drawn by blood.

But Mr Clerk didn't get surprised. Because he already knew that there must be a symbol of something anywhere on his body. He also has one. There is something special behind this symbol. He knew all the things. Because he was the person who made the mirror go blank 30 years ago. He is also the same as Benjamin. But he is not a dragon. ( In the future you will know ..) 

Kevin also saw that. But he is not someone who looks into others'  things like a fox. So he just stayed silent. 

" You, How long are you going to stay like this .. Get up " Mr Clerk ordered.

" Ah... Oops! .. "

Benjamin finally stood up after struggling.

Kevin also helped him. 

But Kevin also had to help him only with his left hand, because his right hand was a sharp blade.

He didn't know how to change back to normal. 

The two were so happy. Finally, they succeeded.

Now they only have to improve their powers. 

Mr Clerk also felt relieved. 

" We are already late. And you can't go back now. You have to get used to this form. You have to stay like this for one more day. You can sleep here. I will send a message to your roommates and class teachers, that you won't attend the classes tomorrow. "

Kevin and Benjamin nodded. 

Mr Clerk extended his hand.

Then, there were two big beds made of vines that appeared in front of them.

They were pretty big. 

The two boys' eyes lit up after seeing the beds. They were really tired. 

" You don't have to be afraid of being alone. And also don't worry you won't get hungry. You won't meet any other people at night, So sleep well and wake up early. Tomorrow we have to do a lot of things ." 

The two boys said good night to their teacher.

Then he left and the door closed. Kevin and Benjamin looked at each other. They have become completely different from before. They were truly glad. 

" Ah... How am I supposed to sleep with these?

Benjamin adjusted his wings and tried to sleep. But he couldn't. He kept turning around to find a comfortable way to sleep. But he couldn't. Because of the heaviness of his wings whenever he turned he will get pulled to the side where his wings were. 

Kevin also had a big problem. His right hand. The blade. If he accidentally bump into that he knew that he will get hurt. And also he had to be careful not to hurt Benjamin. 

" Benjamin. We are now the same as others ..right ?"

" Mmm... We did great. But I didn't expect you will get these blue eyes. That's kinda handsome. But when I saw your teeth I couldn't help, but laugh" 

" What's so funny?.. It's normal for vampires. If you dare to say another word I am going to bite you with these " Kevin said while laughing.

" Oh... I see. You are that capable. Are you gonna bite all the people with those? Ha ha.." Benjamin joked with him back.

" You old man, shut up "

" Who is the old man? Just because my hair is white, you can't say that "

" Ah, I see... You are an old bird. Who can't even stand up properly" Kevin laughed so hard.

" What the - haha... But this feels nice too .. Isn't it? " 

" Yeah... We don't have to worry about ourselves anymore "

" Mm... Then we should sleep now. We will have a lot of things to do tomorrow "

" Yeah... Good night. Don't fly at night I won't catch you " Kevin said while laughing at Benjamin.

" You!... Keep your blade hand to yourself. Don't get cut your neck .." Benjamin also said back.

The two boys fell asleep while laughing. 

The next morning Kevin woke up after he fell from his bed. But he didn't fall. And his bed was stolen ..No, it was taken back by its owner."

Then what about Benjamin? Same there. The bed disappeared. The bed turned into vines. Benjamin also woke up from the pain after fell.

"Good morning." Mr Clerk greeted them.

" I brought your breakfast and new uniforms.

Get ready.  I am gonna teach you the last step."

" Yes, Mr Clerk. " Benjamin didn't fall again and didn't feel the wings were heavy. So he took a look at his back if they have already disappeared. But they were not. Maybe it's because he spent a whole night with them on and his body had already gotten used to it. Kevin also felt like he was normal and nothing changed in his body. They have to get used to the changes.

But Kevin's golden colour hair was accidentally got a little damaged by his blade hand. He was so worried about that. If this goes on like this won't he get to cut his own neck one day? 

Benjamin's white hair was long and it reached to his waist. He tied up his hair into a high bun. Because he felt that was comfortable. In the morning these handsome boys were having breakfast. Kevin was the one who had problems when they ate breakfast.

Because of his hand, he had to use his other hand. But he was not used to that hand. So Benjamin had to feed him. Benjamin found that was funny and he used Kevin's blade to cut bread. 

Kevin was speechless. Is this for slice loaves of bread?

While Kevin was angry, Benjamin was laughing so hard. Eventually Kevin also started to laugh. They found out that was so funny. But,

" What is going on here, Both of you .."

Mr Clerk has arrived. They didn't see that.  When he saw there was a  piece of bread on Kevin's blade he understood what was going on there.

" Ohhh... Looks like it's useful for that too " 

Both of them were surprised by his reaction. They thought that he will get angry. Even though he didn't say anything, the boys cleaned up the place and stood in front of Mr Clerk.

" Now you have to get used to your new form. So it won't be uncomfortable anymore. Now I am gonna teach you how to transform back to normal. "

After he gave the instructions, Kevin finally transformed back to normal after a few tries.

But Benjamin got more time.

" Okay, Now practice that until you can transform  to your beast form and then to your normal appearance without any problems." 

Benjamin and Kevin transformed again and again. Finally, they have no problems.

They took more than 3 hours to become successful. During this time Mr Clerk just waited aside and watched them.

"Okay do it one more time, Then I can confirm whether you are a success or not "

After confirming that, they were able to behave like others, Mr Clerk patted their shoulder.

" Both of you did a good job. Before we end this session, we should discover your abilities. Then you don't have to attend this special class again."

" Yes sir "

 Kevin and Benjamin said together.
