Chapter 12
Destiny and the destinationPart 3Everyone was looking at me, wondering about the way I analyzed the situation. I couldn't really tell what was going through their minds; all I noticed was the way they were staring at me. The first one to react to what I said was Ajbadan, who broke the silence and said, "I actually agree with Amran's point of view, also, there is no guarantee what we will encounter if we go in any other direction." He paused at the point like he was contemplating something else, then he said, addressing me and Azmar, "You two stay behind us; we will protect you." Worries appeared on his face when he said that.Actually, we have weapons." I said that my assumption that Azmar has weapons was also based on what I saw on my status screen, I was sure of it; in fact, the only thing that I was not sure of was whether I was able to use the weapons that I have. On second thought, since it was a skill, it should be implanted in me so I know for a fact I will be able to use it. Here another question comes up, which is: will I be able to kill someone?.All those thoughts were roaming in my head for a second when I heard Ajbadan asking, "What do you mean you have weapons?" Obviously, the question was addressed to me, but before I opened my mouth to answer, Azmar lifted his hand, and, out of nowhere visible to the naked eye, a weapon ten inches long shaped like a gun appeared in his hand. At the same time, both Raco and Ajbadan said, "You have spatial storage?" In a nonchalant way, he answered and said, "Yes, we both do." Ajbadan tried his best to control his surprise, although it was visible for a fraction of a second, and he said, "We will discuss that later, but now we have to move, and by the way, do you know how to use that gun?" Azmar looked at the gun in his hand for a second and said, "Yes, I can use it." Then he looked at me since I didn't take out any weapons and I am the one who said we do have weapons, so obviously he expected me to take out mine, so there was no need for him to ask any questions, so I said "Don't worry about me, I will when the time is right"."Then, let's go." Ajbadan said that and started to move, "Raco, keep the Rearguard for now, and remember our first priority is to protect our guests, we will not attack unless we are attacked first. Is that clear?" It was the same formation that we have been doing so far, and nothing changed. "Yes, sir, it's clear." Raco answered him, and we all started walking towards where the bigger fight was going on. Little did they know that this decision would change their lives forever. Actually, they were the only ones who had a real choice, but they didn't know that. None of us knew what was going to happen...............................on another continent in the capital city of Androdiya.Shock and surprise were showing on Natasha's face, and she froze at her location for a moment after Amun suddenly disappeared in front of her, not more than a meter suppurating them, which caused her to freeze in her place.Since someone disappearing suddenly is not something common, although there is nothing common regarding the woman who had just disappeared, it's not common at all; on the contrary, it's strange enough that the whole thing would seem impossible and unbelievable, but unfortunately she was the one who was experiencing it.No one heard of an alien from another world visiting their planet, and no one would be able to disappear the way she suddenly appeared in their city unless that person was going through a dimintional doorway or portal, and there was none of that in front of the building entrance.Immediately, she went inside the building and gave an order to the receptionist to track down Amun's whereabouts. One of the functions among many others of an ID card was the option of tracking that person, which is not something done frequently or for no reason, but mostly if there is any criminal or suspicious activity, and also for safety purposes in case someone has to visit any of the other human countries. Only in such cases can the ID be accessed and monitored, which was something that she personally didn't like. But it was a blessing at the moment. As soon as she entered her office and turned on her office computer, the receptionist came in and told her, "There is some type of interference with her signal, and we are unable to pinpoint her location, but..."The receptionist hesitated for a moment, then Natasha asked her, "But what?" The receptionist decided to say it anyway, not knowing what her words would sound like, and said, "She is somewhere in the Magu Forest."Nothing could surprise Natasha at that time since a lot of strange accuracies were happening until now, but this piece of information was on a different level for one simple reason: there was no technology available in this world that she was aware of capable of transporting and transferring someone that distance at once, so it was more surprising than the disappearance of Amun. "Did I hear you correctly?" Did you say the Mgau Forest? Natasha asked, trying to confirm what she heard was accurate, and the girl answered, "Yes, but the signal is jumping all over and we can't pinpoint her exact location.""I understood what you just said, how can that be accurate? We all know there is no dimintional portal open to the Magu Forest."The receptionist, with a confused expression, said," I thought it may be an equivalent malfunction, so I did the tracking more than ten times and checked the software and the equipment three times.""Keep on tracking her, and share it with me over my terminal." After she gave the instructions to the receptionist, Natasha started calling her supervisor and informing him about the situation.Almost six hours passed when she received a call from the head of the agency. As soon as he picked up the call without looking at caller ID, she heard "Agent Natasha, you have been assigned a priority S mission, you will receive the details and objectives shortly." Then he hung up the phone. As soon as she heard the voice of the agency head, she stood up out of habit, still standing and wondering what was going on with what mission, which was none the less a priority S. She received a message, and when she saw it, her eyes were wide open. The message was just like this:Mission priority: Level SMission Summary: Locate and capture the missing alien. Make the necessary arrangements to travel immediately to the Magu Forest.Mission objective: Bring back the alien, Dead or alive.Chapter 13Destiny and the destination Part 4 Dead or alive, what's the meaning of this? She almost yelled that aloud, but fortunately she didn't. The instant she finished reading the few lines containing the mission information, her office door opened, and a young man came in to the office and stood behind the door that he closed when he entered the room and said, "Good afternoon, Agent Natasha. My name is Endra. I am here by the order of the general director to assist you with whatever you need to embark on your mission. I will also facilitate your means of travel, and I am waiting for your instructions and orders." For the first time in her life, Natasha was speechless, although nothing was showing in her expressions. Since she is a biological Android, her thinking process is 50 times higher than that of the most genius human, and she is much superior mentally and physically. Still, as a race, they are more rational and never act on emotions or in haste, so no wonder she was spe
Author' noteI apologize for the short chapter. I didn't forget my promises to write longer chapters. The thing is, I am stuck on the fight scenes. It's really more difficult than you think, since my aim to begin with is to present to you something different than the norm that we see in most novels. I don't want something exaggerated. At the same time, it has suited the situation that the obstacle I am facing at the moment is, since some of my readers have also requested that I add some fighting and actions to my story rather than just narration. So I am trying my best to satisfy all of you. The next chapter will be longer than normal, as will the last part of this chapter, so bear with me. Also, I am open to any of your suggestions, so please don't hesitate to write your comments. You may see your ideas implemented, and believe me, there is no bad idea ever.Your authorAbdirizack Sarman Chapter 14Destiny and the destination Part 5While I was reading the new input on the screen
Chapter 15Destiny and the destination Part 6 Now steady your weapon, aim at your target, and shoot. I told myself that and did it at the same time in front of me when the target of my shot was clearly visible, so before I took the shot, I thought of a way not to kill but to immobilize him, and I took the shot. I am not sure where I was aiming at, but all I saw was that my target instantly fell down. Then I aimed at the second one and took the second shot, and the same as before, he fell down also. I thought I was going to feel some type of hesitation, but fortunately, I felt nothing. Since I was sure that my shot didn't kill anyone, but at the same time it immobilized them at my tired target, I heard Amun saying "Six more enemies are approaching us from our west side, approximate arrival time is three minutes." After I pressed the trigger and shot the third one, meanwhile Luke was at his fifth shot. I guess since I didn't count, somehow I was able to figure out how many times he
Chapter 15The Request Part 1I didn't know how to measure the speed or strength that I wanted to use, but internally, I didn't intend to use much force. At the time my weapon connected with his, I didn't wait to see the results but instantly turned to the other one, who was lowering his hand to stab me with his weapon. Switching the gun to my other hand, I saw his head was in a good position for me to hit it, and I did exactly that. It didn't take me more than a split of a second to turn and hit the other one with the bottom of my gun at the same spot as the other one. While preparing to turn again and hit the first one once more, what I saw made me freeze on my spot. The first man I hit that I wanted to follow up with a second attack on was nowhere near his primary position; all I saw was the man laying on his back for more than twenty meters and not moving. When I turned to the other one, the same scene was the same; the only difference was that the man over there was face down o
Chapter 16The RequestPart 2I looked around me, looking for the biggest tree near me to hide behind its trunk, and as soon as I found a big, bulky tree, I hid behind its trunk. What I saw in front of me was definitely not what I was expecting. A group of people was approaching me. I counted them quickly, they were approximately 20 armed men moving cautiously in a team of four people; between each team there was a space of around five meters, in a straight line, like they were comping the whole area, it would take them less than a minute to reach where I fought their comrades, and for sure they will notice me sooner or later, unless I flee this place by using one of the skills and go back where I came from.If I go back, it's obvious that they will reach us within a few minutes. There is absolutely no guarantee of the safety of the children and their mother, so butting into the account, for their safety now, that is the only important thing. I believe they can take care of themselves
Chapter 17The RequestPart 2BAuthor's NoteMy dear readers, first of all, I would like to apologize for last week's chapter. As I previously mentioned, I write as I go, and there are not any pre written chapters that I can publish and upload. That is the only reason; still, I will do my best to even increase the number of chapters from one a week to a minimum of three per week, starting next month. With this chapter, I beg for your forgiveness and hope for your patience with me. I will be going through a long journey, so I will not be able to publish anymore chapters during the two weeks remaining from this month, but I will try my best to fulfill my promises starting next month.I really do appreciate your support, so please continue your support by adding my book to your library and voting and reviewing it.Your author Abdirizack.Sarman.........................................So it's possible, and I gained a new skill and a useful one at that: "Asult." As soon as I finished say
Chapter 18The Request Part 3AI guess my wish came true this time because one of the new skills that I had been given or gifted was what I was in need of and was looking for at the moment since my desire was to listen and understand what they were talking about. Although the distance was not that far, they were talking in such a low voice that I couldn't hear them unless I was standing beside them, and I was not, but the only thing was how to activate the skill. Without thinking or knowing if it was within the description of the skills or not, because I didn't want to go once more and read the whole thing one more time, afraid that I may miss all the conversation between the two men, more than what I already missed, I just said the skill name, "Hayber Hearing "Then instantly, I shifted my gaze and attention to them. The conversation was going on. I couldn't tell what they said to each other before, but I was hearing everything clearly, like I was standing next to them. My guard was
Chapter 19 The Request Part 3B Manuhunter Empire, in the royal court, in a large, secluded room serving as a private meeting room, one of the many rooms made for the same purpose, six men were sitting together; the silence was so thick and ominous; dread was visible on all their faces; no one was saying anything; and no one was looking at the other one. If you listened carefully, you could hear their breathing rhythm, even their heartbeat. The one who was sitting on the largest seat at the table while he was in the same situation as the rest of them. He couldn’t bear the silence any more, asking the person sitting on the opposite seat of him with a harsh tone and saying, “You said you could handle it, and it will not take time; why didn’t you get any reports until now?" The man was apparently shaking with fear and stress, thinking to himself that he may have bitten more than he could chew. "It's too early to tell; we have to wait. We will get the update as soon as there is any new
Chapter 39Beginning of the Invasion Part 2B Rohonda appeared to be listening to a report from some type of recorded device when the countdown started; although her attention was directed to what she was listening to, she didn’t miss the quietness of the place with hundreds of people being silent at once. She put the device that she was listening to and collected another one from her desk drawer and started recording a message: “This recording is from Section One; the time is 17.00 hours, and today is the first day that officially Project Zero One started finally. I hope we have enough time to implement all the security measures that we have been working on." Without a second thought, she pressed the send button and returned the device to the same drawer. With a sigh, she rested her back on the chair she was sitting in and said, “I wonder if this was all a perdition or planned, I don’t know what they are thinking, fighting an alien invasion with abducted aliens.” a

"And Ayuma, Please call the head of the council, Mr. Enigma, and tell him to meet me here as soon as possible." At that time she heard a sound similar to thunder, or maybe it was thunder, but usably the lightning and thunder come for the sky with a storm or rain but not in a confide or an open space near the ground; the circle was actually above the ground and was almost two and a half meters above ground. From this distance, nobody was able to guess the size of it, but since it was almost three kilometers outside of the city and was visible that much from that distance, it was obvious that it was huge; everyone was able to see it was palpitating like a heart from that distance. The movement of the muddy cloud inside the circle was so ominous that everyone who was still standing there felt the chill in their bones, and whoever di
Chapter 37Beginning of the Invasion Part 1BEmika’s point of viewThis was the worst nightmare I have been seeing, and I really wished it was just a nightmare, but it was not; it was a reality, a fact in front of my eyes. The thing I was referring to as a portal was forming in the same location I have been seeing it in my dreams, or, to say it correctly, my nightmares. And the reason I am referring to it as a portal is because I knew it was, because I saw it with my own closed eyes at that time, the monsters coming out of it, which indicates that it was a portal of some kind. I have been afraid my dreams would come true, and I didn’t wish for it, but somehow I had the feeling that whatever I saw would happen, but I hoped it would be in a different day and time; a time when I was better prepared for it and was able to take some kind of countermeasure for it.I have no idea what kind of countermeasure I could have been able to take. But anything is better than being taken by surprise

Chapter 36Beginning of the Invasion Part 1AThe girls had a large tent and they were struggling with it, Since Ajbadan said he will help them, he decided to go to the boy Still, he was wondering why didn’t dismantle his tent? Or at least why? if he is not doing anything, why did he help the girls? Aren’t they his companions? At least they have been together more the rest of them, Regardless of their meeting in the forest, as they said, Murad shook his head like he was dropping the questions that filled it and went to the boy. Aden stood up when he saw Murad approaching him and smiled while saying, “It’s embarrassing to say that, seeing you came to help me, but I am actually leaving the tent here that way I didn’t dismantle it.” Murad was not expecting to hear that at all While the surprise was showing on his face, he asked, “Can I ask you why?” Aden didn’t expect to be asked that question either, so he hesitated for a second and said while scratching his head with a small laugh, ”ha
Chapter 35The First EncounterPart 6BGoosebumps ran down his spine when he saw what he saw when he used the skill. He was staring at a black portal that was enormous, over four meters tall and ten meters wide, with a black square shape instead of the typical gateway portals seen on this planet. It was both smokey and liquid-like at the same time, and he was unable to determine what material it was composed of. It was moving like a live entity with a pulsating heart, but it was not changing shape. In a matter of seconds, it gained shape and materialized in front of him at the location the youngster had indicated. He felt a terrible sensation throughout his body. This is what the young man was talking about. He told himself, "So it's all true then," confirming the first thing the boys had mentioned. "The time was the next thing he confirmed, and it was true too." He had the chance to glance at the clock now that it was getting to be the time of sunset, but he didn't think of it. He fe
Chapter 34The First EncounterPart 6A“If you don’t believe me, use your Predict skill, and you will see it.” That was it. I had to let him go and step back a couple steps. He knows two of my skills not just one but two. That is ridiculous. I have been shocked. In a manner I never had before, if it were anybody else in front of me telling me that, the first reaction that would accrue to me would have been to cut his head immediately, without even getting the opportunity to get questioned about where he got the information. But fortunately or unfortunately, the one who said that was a child, although the expression on my face changed and my hand was on the gun and the sword in my waist, a complete involuntary reaction from my side.It took me nearly a minute to gather myself and regain my composure. During this time, I came to the realization that someone else must have informed him about my skills. Therefore, I felt compelled to find out who that person was. At that moment, the only
Chapter 33The First EncounterPart 5B“We need to move from here; the monsters are coming; he is coming, he is coming; and we are all going to be dead." That was the only word that came out of his mouth, and then all he did was stare at the man standing beside him, although his body was shaking, like somebody who is scared or feeling cold, but his eyes were totally blank, like a blind guy who is just looking but not seeing anything. From the blank way he was looking at him, the emperor noticed that the boy was looking at something else, and most probably he also got, “The lost art.” As one of the few humans on this planet who has knowledge of “the lost art” and has learned a few of its skills, he can tell that this boy has it. This is his first encounter with not one but two unexpected individuals in an expected situation with unexpected knowledge. While Juian was talking to the emperor, the skill foresight was activated, and he was not actually looking at or talking to the emperor,
Chapter 32Intermission Jack’s side story Part 1Anther's note:This is Jack’s story recap as I told it in the first volume, but I will now add the missing parts that were not known to anyone in the first volume or the second volume until now, or what was his connection to the storey line? So far, all we knew in the first volume was that he was looking for his wife, and that was all he was looking for. Where was he imprisoned? What for? There were a lot of questions that no one asked and nobody answered, and no one will unless someone dares ask the correct question. Also, I edited the previous chapter, its not just a copy of the same chapter of the first volume to go along with the current retelling of the story without changing much from the original story as a recap because of the importance of the story line. I remember one reader asking me if I was just filling in the characters for the sake of my book, and he was specifically talking about Jack :) I hope now he got the answer.
