Revenge I

"Oliver, it's been a long time since you came here. Your uncle and aunt think you've forgotten about us." Ilda hugged Oliver tightly. To her, Oliver was like her own son.

It only took half an hour from where Oliver was to his house. However, Oliver was so busy working odd jobs that he found it difficult to get to Uncle Sam and Aunt Ilda.

"Sorry, Aunt. I've been swamped, I came to you because I wanted to give you something."

Oliver spoke softly. Their embrace broke apart and Ilda and Sam looked at their nephew with great curiosity.

"Uncle and Aunt are coming with me for a vacation, okay?"

Oliver spoke calmly, he had been thinking about how to evacuate the two of them. They had a hard time trusting Oliver. When Oliver was going to save them during that zombie attack, it would be hard. So, he better evacuates Sam and Ilda first.

"Holiday?" Sam saw Ilda, and they both looked surprised.

"There's a quiet place, I want Uncle and Aunt there. We haven't spent time together, so isn't that good for both of us?" Oliver kept staring at them, trying hard to influence them both. "I want to spend time with the people I care about."

Ilda's heart moved, she touched Oliver's back because she knew Oliver had been living in misery all this time, Oliver didn't look as strong as he looked.

"You must have a hard job, huh? You must be under a lot of pressure." Ilda spoke in a weak voice that conveyed great pity.

Oliver didn't really like that line, but he accepted it. "Yes, Auntie. So, do you want it?"

<Sept. 17>

[0 days, 3 hours]

Oliver drank the coffee he had made quietly. His right hand was busy playing on his cell phone, he dialed Dereck's number.

At that time, Dereck with a troubled heart, was already at home in the hill town of Rainvier. In his hand was a can of beer with very little alcohol content.

"You all right, Oliver?" asked Dereck. His eyes moved following the movements of Ilda and Sam in front of him.

The two were making dinner and looked very happy, not knowing what was about to happen.

"Yeah. I wanted to ensure you guys didn't get out of there."

Oliver heard the sound of heavy breathing, he had prepared everything, but that didn't mean everything would go smoothly later.

"I know. Everything you said I did, Oliver." Dereck was silent for a moment. "Be careful there."

The phone connection was cut off, and the tension was felt in Dereck. He needed help understanding Oliver's mindset. During the few days he spent with Oliver, he thought Oliver was acting strange and very different.

Sometimes he felt afraid of Oliver himself. His heavy thoughts finally made him lower his head.

"Everything will be fine," he muttered while adjusting the position of the Glock g22 he was holding carefully.

Where he was, Oliver, who had been preparing since earlier, finally started to carry out his plan. He eventually became Della sitting in the living room, he smiled as if he loved Della.

"I have hidden the gem, now I will go to make a report."

Della immediately stood up from her seat, she was pleased to hear this, she had hoped that Oliver would leave immediately.

"Be careful, don't be in a rush to do anything, Oliver."

Oliver just nodded, he's hard to be cute for too long. He immediately left the house, and Della waved her hand, delivering a smile. When Oliver was not seen, her eyes were very sharp.

"Ah, the useless guy is finally gone." She pressed her nape. "It's so tiring to be cute in front of him. You damn man." She cursed, but a second later, she smiled at the memory of the gem.

Oliver had shown her his giant gems, and she liked them very much.

Not long after the man she was waiting for arrived at the house, Della immediately jumped up and gave Henry a tight hug. Her thin lips touched Henry's, they spun as they did.

Henry put Della on the floor, he looked at the woman with long, slightly reddish hair.

"Today we will dispose of him, apart from getting this house getting gems isn't a bad thing." Henry rubbed his lips, he smiled slyly.

Pretending to be Oliver's friend is sickening.

"So I'm going to be living with you in your apartment after this, Henry?" asked Della pressing her chest against Henry's arm.

"Sure. You'll live with me. What do you want with that useless guy?"

Della shook her head. If there's such a wonderful man as Henry, why does she have to be with trash like Oliver?

"You're so wise, honey."

Della was so happy. The two finally started looking around for where Oliver had hidden the gems. But for an hour, they searched all over this house and did not find it.

"Are you quite sure that he hid the jewels here, Della?" asked Henry as he lay on the floor.

"I'm sure, Henry. There may be places we haven't checked properly."

Della exhaled, she looked around her with sharp eyes. She also remembered where Oliver had been when he was home.

Della ran to the kitchen, she tried to find it there.

Without them both realize that Oliver has been watching them with hateful eyes. This is his home, he knows very well what belongs to him.

He was on the roof of the house and observing them from some opening he had made so he could observe without being noticed.

"You two are disgusting. You and your family are big criminals, your family has destroyed my father and mother, and you are not satisfied with that?"

His eyes now turned to Della, the woman sitting at the dining table with a sad face.

Oliver was very disappointed in Della, their first meeting was full of love, but it turned out that Della, the girl who worked at the donut shop, had such an evil heart.

"Shows."

A notification screen appeared in front of him.

[0 Days, 0 Hours.]

Oliver smiled, he was waiting for the attack to come and just like before, the car alarm sounded so loud.

"What's that?" Della ran into the living room and saw people running from the window. Her brows furrowed.

"Let go of me! No!!"

A woman fell right in the yard and was immediately pounced on by a large man in front of her.

Della and Henry were still watching, their pupils widening and their breathing slowing.

Passsh!

Blood was spurted profusely when the man pressing on top of the woman raised his head. At that moment, Henry and Della noticed something abnormal.

"H-he killed that woman, Henry!" Della screamed frantically with extraordinary.

BAM!

"AAAA!"

Della immediately fell backward when a zombie appeared, hitting the window she had seen earlier. Not just one, but many are now smashing home windows.

"W-what happened!?" Della's body shook violently.
