Emma walked with Jack, her presence in this place already receiving much attention. She had made friends with some of the younger people who were more accepting than the older people; they thought the younger people were incompetent for allowing enemies around them.

"Just leave them alone; they'll change eventually."

Emma pulled Jack's hand quite hard; she didn't want to let the young man get into trouble. Frank was already a scary example in this place; Emma didn't want Jack to make a mistake that would cost him his life.

He was still young and had a decent chance to live.

"Of course, I'll let them, Emma. I'm not in the mood to talk to them. They're often doing nauseating nonsense."

Jack looked sullen; he walked until he finally arrived at the field, the large field was filled with people who were busy practicing, and he went straight to Jane and Leah.
