Ugly God

Gerald held his stomach, and his eyes focused on one place that dumbfounded him. He looked at Oliver slowly, his eyes blinked a few times and he held the weapon before him.

"How? With this weapon I brought, we can counterattack them, right?”

Gerald still had difficulty moving his jaw to reply to this man he had just met.

“H-how can you have this many weapons? And they are not cheap and improvised weapons.”

Oliver smiled a little, looking at his gun. He wouldn't tell Gerald even if he begged. Meeting Leah was one of his lucky.

"We better get moving, shall we? The sooner we let them go, the more freedom we'll be able to have.”

Gerald took one of the guns in front of him. The weapon's weight made him sure that what he was holding and seeing was real and not an illusion because he had almost experienced death before.

"Why are you helping me?" Gerald looked at Oliver more sharply than before.

“You noticed it then, it's because I want this place to be used as my group's sanctuary.”
