"Careful with that last batch, babe. Every single drop of this is valuable and we can't lose any of it," Aliyah said to Jess.

Jess took the last tube of the unfiltered formula and put it in the electronic device that did the filtering. It was a small batch so it would take only a few minutes for the formula to be extracted from the harmful elements and separated from it.

"I can't believe we're almost done with this," Jess said excitedly.

"Me either. And to think I was keeping this a secret from you and now, I'm succeeding because of your help," Aliyah said appreciatively.

Jess went over to her and they stood side by side, leaning on the table while the machine did its work.

"After it's ready, what will you do next?" Jess asked.

"I'll take it to my dad's university and give it to the other scientists to get out there and start saving people's lives on the condition that they give him all the credit and repair the damage they did to his reputation when they called him insane," Aliyah sa
