Consummated

Allison felt like she was floating in the air as she kissed Maximus. It was her very first kiss with a man and it was everything she'd ever imagined it would be but it was even better because she was doing it with her one true mate.

He didn't feel like a stranger to her. He felt very familiar. Everything about him felt familiar, the feel of his hands on her body, the scent of his skin, the taste of his lips on her tongue, the hardness of his muscular body and the warmth he exuded.

She felt safe in his arms. She felt at home and there was nowhere else she'd rather be than with him. She wanted this moment to last for as long as possible because unlike every other chaotic thing in her life, this felt different, it felt right.

The kiss was beginning to fade and Allison could tell that it was because of Maximus' doubts and resistance. He ended it and closed his eyes, unable to look at her.

"Open your eyes, Maximus! Look at me," She said softly, almost like a request.
