Next Morning

Selena sat on a stool by the bar with a strong drink in her hand. She was in a strip club that was located right on the edge of town and for good reason too; it was illegal. The only reason why the club was still operational was because the owner had several dealings with some corrupt policemen.

"Need another top-up, Tigress?" The barman asked her with a smile.

"Steve, I've asked you to stop calling me that. Those days are way behind me," Selena replied and gave him her glass.

He poured some more liquor into it and slid the glass back to her.

"Those days may be gone but the memories are not. Some clients still ask for you whenever they arrive and are usually very disappointed when they hear that you no longer work here," Steve said as he wiped the bar with a rag.

"That's not me anymore, Steve," Selena told him and had another sip of her drink.

"It may not be you anymore but I can see it in your eyes that you miss it," He said.
