“Vincestreet High! Offer up your students' president now or else every student receives their own share of pain!” Pitcher announced to the whole school.

For the moment, murmurs could be heard all around and inside the school building as the students got frightened.

Everyone knows that the students’ president have not been decided yet. Ken was killed and now, the one who claimed to take the position, Don, is dead too.

Don’s killer, Jimmy Wilshire is not even around as he was taken under the police custody to be taken care of with his family through the congressman’s compensation.

To everyone in the school, it was rumoured unto them that Jimmy was actually the one who completely defeated Don and probably, saved Velma from him.

Another rumour was spread, claiming that Velma and Jimmy actually teamed up to kill him. That Jimmy just helped her out but was the one who gave the final blow.

As Pitcher was loosing his patience, he came out in the midst of them again to make another announcement, only for him to come to a pause as he saw two figures coming from the side of the building.

Two girls came to their sight, Velma and Jixie.

Velma as always, had a baseball steel bat resting on her right shoulder while she holds it at the handle with her right hand.

But this time around, her steel bat was customised with green spray paint and a word that went around the steel bat’s barrel, ‘Anarchy’.

Jixie, as usual she normally is, she had shorts on, bandages wrapped around her two arms and this time around, her two shins were wrapped with the bandages too and her two hands tucked into her shorts’ pockets.

Everyone felt relieved, even some who broke down to thank their gods for the mercy and grace. Then we have the girl fans that were cheering the both on while the ‘cultured men’ were already on their knees worshipping.

The both were finally able to stand in front of Pitcher and an awkward silence filled the whole school.

Noticing Pitcher, he was quite fit and tall just like your average basketball player. His head bent as he stared at the opponent’s from up high, sending quite the chills to his fellow crewmates but not to the daring two.

Eyes staring, hearts racing, minds praying, hands locked on for the bystanders. Then we have those who got their eyes narrowed, hearts weirdly calm and the positioning of the two opposing parties being firm.

Then to everyone’s surprise, Pitcher brought forth his hand for a handshake and spoke up,

“That is some massive respect there, young lady. Making history in Vincestreet High as being the president here. I just wish we could head over to some cafe right now and have me listen to your story of your journey to the top.”

With absolute shock and impression written all over her face, she looked up at him and with a smile, Velma replied while accepting the handshake,

“We can absolutely do that of course hun but you have one thing wrong, I am not the students’ president and I don’t intend to be one.”

“Huh? Then is she the one?” Pitcher asked as she points at Jixie in which she shook her head.

“Then, why did you come out to face us?”

“To have a little fun of course.” Velma replied with a cute cheerful smile on her face.

“You are really a weird one according to the rumours, but as courtesy demand, I am Pitcher and that over there...” He said as he points at Big D, “is Big Dawnson aka Big Daddy.”

“Awwn, he is kind of cute to be called that, won’t babyface work?” Velma teases.

“Well, your are not the first to request so, but as our boss, the nickname suits him better.”

“Ok then, I am Velma and she’s my bestest friend, Jixie.”

............[In Class 2A]...........

At the class window, the trio, Eugene, Tiara and Jay, can be seen watching the current situation at hand.

As the three were quietly staring at the scene, Eugene finally broke the silence.

“Hey guys, I think I will have to intervene in the fight.”

“Wow, this guy is really dedicated to get us killed. What did we talk about keeping a low profile, dude?” Jay complained.

“I can’t just keep being on a low and wait for Amon’s murderer to hunt me and kill me anymore.” Eugene explained.

“But, why do you want to do this?” Tiara asked with concern.

“Tiara, remember the promise I made to you and our childhood friends nine years ago? I made a decision to never see anyone I cherished or those I’m close to, to ever be in pain.

The murderer knows of my mother, even though I have Sir Eric and miss Angel but I can’t trust everything to them.

My plan is to find the murderer before he or she finds me. Of course, I won’t be laying low anymore, if I really want to find peace, I have to eliminate the troubles.

Staying low won’t ensure a peaceful life, after all, this little mistaken fate was already decided unto me and I will change it.

You know what I am capable of right?” Eugene asks Tiara who smiled back at him, hugged him and replied, “of course, you are the ‘Grieving Emperor’ right?”

“That is really so emotional, Grieving Emperor indeed, here...” Jay brings out a paper from his pocket and continued, “this is my personal data and my application letter to your mom for adoption, if you ever end up dead in the near future.”

“Haha, keep it bro, you won’t be ever using it.” Said Eugene as he left the classroom and headed downstairs to the courtyard.

.................[Back at the courtyard.]..................

“So, who is coming first?” Velma asked as she distances herself from Pitcher to give herself some space and also ready herself.

Jixie joined her side but her hands were still tucked into the pocket.

Pitcher laughed out loud and was about to give his boys the signal but stopped as he saw another figure approaching.

Velma and Jixie turned back to know what he was staring at, only to see Eugene coming up to them.

The whole school were already laughing in mockery against Eugene that even one suggested that he came to serve as a meat shield for the girls.

“Oi Eugene, the fuck you doing here?” Jixie asked.

Eugene finally reached onto where they were and tapped on both Velma and Jixie’s shoulder saying, “don’t worry I got this.”

Eugene went straight ahead to Pitcher while the two girls stare at him in shock.

“Hi, I am Eugene and you?” he greeted.

“Pitcher. Did you come to me to join in the battle?” he asked with curiosity.

“Kind of, but I am here to strike a deal with you.”

“Huh? What deal?”

“I will take on all of you and in return after I win, you answer all my questions.”

On hearing out his request, Pitcher laughed out loud which got everyone in confusion. He finally was able to come to a stop and replied,

“No. Take on my men and I will fulfil your demands and answer all questions you have in mind, even my deep secrets.”

“Then that is a deal.” Eugene said as he brings out his hand for a shake in which Pitcher accepted.

Eugene distanced himself and went back to the girls and told them both to stand down, in which they got confused and asked what happened.

“He will explain it all, just listen.”

“Ladies! Do forgive me! For it seems that I have made a deal with the devil! I would like to humbly request that you give us some space!

Boys! Eugene here! Has challenged you all in a brawl! You will have to give it your all! Under my signal! You guys should charge at him!” Pitcher announced.

This got everyone shocked as they asked each other if he was crazy.

“Hey Tiara, how about marrying me, since I am going to be a son of a rich woman soon.” Jay suggested to Tiara.

“In your dreams.” Tiara replied with a smile as she was actually and weirdly excited for the brawl.

“What are you doing, you nerd!?” Velma asked in disbelief on what Pitcher just announced.

“Did I not tell you Velma? This dude is crazy.” Jixie added.

Eugene suddenly let out a chuckle and started rubbing his fist against his lower jaw.

Pitcher suddenly raised his right hand with an open palm and then closed it tightly, which was the signal.

The boys being a bit hesitant finally charged at Eugene, after all, they can’t argue with Pitcher, since they thought that Eugene would be an ‘easy’ target.

“Anyways, Mr. Grey Eugene, you do have quite a sturdy body for someone who is a nerd, I didn’t know you could fight but why did you let Ken keep on beating you up till his death and likewise pretended that you couldn’t throw hands?” Velma asked with curiosity written all over her widened eyes which she used to stare at him while leaning closely towards him. “Hmm, why don’t we just say that it was a plan which I devised to get people to pity me while receiving beatings that were enough to get people into asking themselves why I haven’t fought back, even with the knife which they claimed that I used in stabbing Abel’s stomach.” Says Eugene as he leans close to Velma, face to face while staring at her eyes. “*cough* *cough*, that’s probably a lie.” Jixie cuts in as she coughed and slowly dropped the coffee mug which she drank from on the table and continued, “If that was the case, you would have people already coming to your side to actually confirm if what Ken claimed is the truth, an

For Eugene, he became more embarrassed that not only that he couldn’t beat Velma, but he also couldn’t beat the game characters. I am an ex member.” As Velma replied, Eugene was suddenly thrown in shock and couldn’t believe his ears, causing him to ask again, “w... What?” “Just calm down, okay? I didn’t join them during the middle school years, but instead, I joined them during my first year in high school, to be exact, Rosetown High. And more importantly, one of your ex-member; Stacy, is a member of the gang and as for her position; she’s the vice captain and of course, she hates you a lot and your story made it clear.” After Velma’s statement, Eugene’s mood got worse as his facial expression changed from confusion to sadness. They are pretty strong and would definitely give a tough time to anyone, but as for someone like you, I don’t just know, I can’t really predict.
