At Thom's Corporation's headquarters, a man gathered his executives outside of their usual working hours to tend to his personal needs. Eric needed to secure a billion dollars to give to his supposed girlfriend—Antur. Eric believed that Antur held the key to freeing his brother from the clutches of their mother's influence.

It was at this moment that Eric's secretary exclaimed, "Sir, there's a call. The caller introduced himself as your girlfriend," as he hurried into the office.

In response, Eric slammed his hands on his desk, though the secretary's contorted expression wasn't in response to the gesture but to the identity of the caller. The caller insisted on being Eric's girlfriend, even though the secretary could distinctly hear a male voice. Initially suspecting a prank call, the secretary was perplexed by the fact that the caller was using Lambert's number, Eric's brother.

Eric, however, paid no heed to his secretary's concerns. His sole focus was on securing the money he need

Patal reported to Gaige that Eric had indeed killed Antur. This action was unexpected from Eric but not unusual for a Thom. The incident occurred as Patal followed the couple on their supposed return trip to the island. Antur, however, remained oblivious to Eric's intentions and sat peacefully in Eric's car. It wasn't until a few moments later that he sensed something was amiss. Antur, gazing out of the car window, remarked, "This is not the way to the sea." Antur had agreed to keep Eric away from Gaige for a month. If it meant he could find a way to communicate with his god, spending an additional month as a Purger would not be a problem for him. Antur had left heaven without notifying the god he served, believing that his failure to report was the reason the god wasn't connecting with him. He now regretted not seeking his god's help earlier, as confronting Lord Ydnah had led to dire consequences. "We're here," Eric stated as he exited the car, leaving Antur puzzled. Leaving Gaig

"I won't die here!" Antur screamed with unwavering determination, despite plummeting at tremendous speed from a great height. He clenched his jaws, his mind racing to figure out the best way to land safely. He knew he might sustain injuries, given his status as a weak, newly respawned purger, but he held onto hope, unwilling to meet his demise. "I never want to return to the water again! Damn it!" He remained resolute, but when he caught sight of his impending landing point, panic surged through him. He flailed his arms and legs as if he were swimming in the air, desperate to avoid a perilous landing spot. "Why would someone place a cross in the middle of a forest?" he complained, all the while fearing he might collide with it and meet death once more. "Ugh! Damn it!" Antur's outburst disrupted the animals and spirits in the forest, causing them all to scatter from the hill where he was about to land upon hearing his loud grumbling voice. He struck the cross and instantly felt a sea

The samurai sword, held by a middle-aged man with mostly white hair, was menacingly pointed toward Antur's neck. Beads of sweat began to form on Antur's forehead as the sunlight glinted off the blade, intensifying his fear. "Don't believe him, Gina," the man's raspy voice warned the woman in front of Antur. Before he could react, another man suddenly materialized and pressed the muzzle of his gun against the back of Antur's head. He said, "You really can't be left alone, Gina. This one is a purger." In the morning, after Eric had properly disposed of his girlfriend's body, he returned to Gaige's building as if nothing important had occurred. He even brought an expensive cake and waited for Gaige to come down to the living room. "What's that?" Gaige's attention was instantly drawn to the pink cake box. He was more excited to see what was inside the box than to greet his brother. "Woah! Black forest cake! Lisa! Oh, thank you." Gaige was about to ask Lisa for a spoon and a plate, but she was already holding them when he turned to her. He jumped in excitement as Patal began to cut the cake for him. Meanwhile, Eric softly smiled as he watched how innocent his brother was. However, that soft smile faded as soon as Gaige mentioned, "Is this a celebratory cake? You really killed him brutally. Very much expected of Thom." Even though Eric already knew what Gaige was talking about, he still asked, "What are you saying?" Gaige continued to eat the cake and even offered small slices to P

  • Welcome back Transmigrator   Chapter 131: "Impulse and Desires"

Ever since the aliens taught Gun how to gamble, he has become a fan of it. Gun had been to a casino before, primarily due to his past purger partners conducting purging operations there. However, he had never explored the place during its normal business activities when no one was dying and there was no chaos. He was curious about how people placed their bets and how gambling worked. Just the thought of sightseeing in such a place excited him. He perked up and said, "You said I could ask for anything, right? Of course, I want to see the inside!" Gaige reluctantly asked, "Where is that?" "It's on Sugal Avenue," Gun replied, even though his lack of expression made it challenging to gauge his excitement. However, Gaige could tell from the way Gun was shaking and jumping around that he was quite thrilled. "Did you take Axel there?" Gaige inquired. Gaige narrowed his eyes at Gun, who awkwardly responded, "No, we passed by on the way home." Gun panicked when Gaige grabbed him, as if h

  • Welcome back Transmigrator   Chapter 132: "Simple is better"

Early this morning, Gaige was in his yard. He had a reputation for being lethargic, usually lounging or eating while lying down each morning. However, today was different; he decided to be active. This unusual turn of events drew all the people in his building outside, gathering around him. The only exception was Eric, who watched from the balcony of his room. "Here's your sword; I hope you'll like it," Ishya said as she handed Gaige the sword crafted by the aliens. "Thanks, Ishya," Gaige replied. "It's Ishya," she corrected. "Oh, right," Gaige acknowledged. Gaige lived with six aliens, seven returnees, and three humans. He could remember most of their names, except for those with particularly challenging names, like Ishya. The returnees and aliens all had unique and complex names because they hailed from different worlds. He simply apologized and then focused more on the sword he had been waiting to see. Yet as soon as he pulled the sword out of its sheath, the system's warning

  • Welcome back Transmigrator   Chapter 133: "A Character in the Novel"

In the original novel, "The Seventh Oath," Anniston VonBeihj had been a minor, unknown character. Gaige first crossed paths with Anniston when they were both young apprentices, with Gaige training as a knight and Anniston as a mage. Regardless of their differing social statuses, Anniston extended a hand of friendship to Gaige and even introduced him to Princess Bettine. In the revised version of the novel, Gaige's transformation into its author and main character had a profound butterfly effect. Anniston's character evolved into one of the story's central figures, ultimately becoming an archmage with a gratifying conclusion. Although the beginning and middle of the novel remained rooted in Gaige's original transmigration experiences, the ending took an entirely different turn. "The Seventh Oath's" world did not meet its catastrophic fate but instead reached a joyful resolution. Every character, even the villains, found happiness in this new version of the story, leaving Gaige with a

"Seriously, why are you confused about two completely different languages?" Gaige inquired, echoing the question that had been puzzling him. In his quest for answers, he reached into his inventory and retrieved the storybook, displaying it to Anniston. "Can you read this?" Gaige asked, to which Anniston responded by shaking his head. Examining the letters in the storybook, Gaige recognized them as Soleil's alphabet, as he often did. "Patal, give me something to write on," Gaige instructed. Patal handed him his tablet and a stylus pen, which Gaige then passed to Anniston, directing him to write something in Soleil's language. Gaige's frustration mounted as he exclaimed, "Are you kidding me?" Anniston claimed that he had written his name in Soleil's script, but Gaige couldn't decipher it. In response, Gaige confidently scribed Anniston's name just below it, remarking, "This is how you write your name in Soleil's writing." "Hey, that's heaven's scripture," Gun interjected. Gaige wa

Chapter 256: "Welcome to the End!"

Once Gaige Feryuson returned to Earth, the system was no longer with him or anyone else. He was overjoyed when he gazed into his reflection and saw his appearance revert to what he recognized as his original and very first identity—the average-looking Kim Nery. Though he looked plain, weaker, and less imposing than the main character-like appearance of the Commander Knight Gaige Feryuson, he loved his Kim Nery look because it granted him more peace and a sense of calmness. "Papa! You look uglier!" Lambert pointed out, and he immediately jumped into Gaige's arms when he noticed him descending the stairs. "You don't have to be rude anymore," Gaige said. He laughed at his son's apt remark. "Bert, the purger system is all gone," and he gave him a kiss in appreciation for the fact that his son still recognized him despite his current downgraded appearance. Lambert pouted, causing Gaige to laugh even louder. Lambert said, "I am just being honest, papa." Everyone gathered one by one, draw

Chapter 255: "Welcome back, Kim Nery!"

The chaos surrounding Gaige Feryuson showed no signs of abating, even after the one who initiated it had perished. Explosions and fires raged, and the air echoed with screams and cries. The streets were strewn with corpses and blood, and despair loomed over everything. Gaige Feryuson realized that the world had indeed been abandoned because the once-familiar skies were now devoid of the countless angels he had grown accustomed to seeing. For Gaige, it was far from comforting to gaze up at a clear sky for the first time without spotting any celestial beings lazily drifting through the heavens. Despite the departure of the immensely powerful creator, this didn't imply that only humans would remain. The remaining purgeable beings still existed, and although their extraordinary abilities would gradually wane, new returnees would continue to arrive. This was a fortunate development for the returnees and transmigrators, although not all of them were benevolent; some certainly posed a thr

    Chapter 254: "Dandelions"

Each existing world has its own set of rules and foundational principles. Whenever something or someone violates these laws or disrupts the foundation that sustains its existence, the gods, along with the celestial beings, step in to intervene. The Purger system is one such example of divine intervention. Its purpose is to ensure that Earth remains exclusive to single-lifers, and this exclusivity serves a specific objective. Single-lifers are inherently less powerful than multiple-lifers, making purgers indispensable for Earth's stability and balance. However, the gods retain the freedom to abandon a world if it becomes excessively troublesome and burdensome to maintain, regardless of the significance of its inhabitants. In the case of Earth, the loss of an archangel, a significant decrease in the purger population, and a recurrence of errors have made the gods less inclined to rectify the situation and more inclined to forsake the world. Abandoning a world is a relatively straigh

    Chapter 253: "Shut it down!"

Gaige Feryuson and his family had safely departed Yawyklim City. Each member settled into their seats while Gaige piloted the minibus. It was a moment of respite, albeit brief, as an unexpected and massive explosion rocked the entire city of Yawyklim. Gaige slammed the brakes suddenly, causing all his passengers to lurch forward, then quickly settle back in their seats. Everyone peered out the windows, their curiosity piqued by the sudden explosion. "Hasn't the hunt concluded?" Cain inquired. In response, the others simply shrugged, equally perplexed. As they were leaving, they had witnessed angels descending from the sky. They assumed it was the angels' responsibility to restore order following the hunt's chaos. They didn't quite comprehend the methods the angels employed. Gaige mumbled, "Hmm, it's not the angels." He enhanced his vision using his divine abilities to see farther and observe the events unfolding inside the city. Although his vision was somewhat limited, it was enou

Chapter 252: "You steal the life out of me!"

The administrators and gods had convened in one place to investigate the individual responsible for tampering with Earth's purging system. They had initially waited patiently for Andy YDna's summons, but several seconds had already passed, and the elusive purger had yet to appear. The significant time difference between Earth and heaven meant that waiting for even a brief moment in heaven translated to hours on Earth. The delay in receiving the summons was causing irritation to mount among those gathered. One particular god, his patience worn thin, unleashed his frustration upon the system administrators, angels, and toads. "What is going on? How much longer must I endure this waiting?" he growled. As a god vented his frustration, the surroundings quaked, and those beneath him gasped for air, momentarily losing their ability to breathe due to the sheer force of his presence. "Please, remain calm," Lord Lintian urged, trying to maintain composure. He sighed while his hands were occu

Chapter 251: "Beware of Bugs and Errors"

Ainspenser couldn't comprehend why everyone was staring at them with evident dismay. Frustrated by the situation, she questioned, "Why are they acting like this?" Gaige Feryuson, however, merely let out a heavy sigh and chose to ignore her inquiry. The murmurs from the onlookers continued, with voices speculating, "Which side is he on?" In reality, Gaige didn't align himself with either side. He walked away from the gathering to avoid getting caught up in the brewing drama. As all eyes followed him, they were taken aback when Gaige's fist struck something that appeared invisible. A resounding noise filled the air, and an invisible figure was sent tumbling. The invisibility spell concealing Andy shattered upon impact with the wall. He struggled to regain his footing but couldn't utter a word. Gaige reappeared in front of Andy, aiming his gun at Andy's forehead and firing without uttering a word. The sudden gunshot sent shockwaves through the onlookers, rendering them momentarily sp

Chapter 250: "WARNING: You got scammed!"

The Central Plaza was enveloped in the suffocating aura of death. Purgers opened fire fervently, even before they touched the ground. Fortunately, the purgeable beings were ready. Those with the ability to create shields covered those charging forward, allowing the others to engage the purgers immediately. As the two sides collided, the area became drenched in blood, and the acrid scent of death hung heavily in the air. The triumphant shouts of the enemy were nauseating, but no one wavered. "We can win!" declared one of the leaders upon seeing the purgers sustain more damage. The initial elation and confidence of the purgers quickly dwindled as the purgeable beings gained the upper hand. No one had expected these typically fearful and feeble individuals to respond with such ferocity. It caused the purgers to feel iffy about the sudden change. Also, the purgers' morale declines even more as they worry that they might not respawn as a result of the system's ongoing failure to co

Chapter 249: "Why are you targeting me?"

Except for Gaige and Ainspenser, everyone had gathered at Yawyklim Central Plaza. It was an unprecedented occurrence during the hunt, where opposing sides engaged in direct combat instead of scattered skirmishes. Purgers typically operated individually or in small groups, and rarely had they united en masse. On the other hand, purgeable beings were usually helpless and unprepared during the hunt. However, this time, they had learned how the hunt worked and gained the knowledge of how to combat purgers. The fear and vulnerability that once filled their eyes had given way to determination and a will to survive through their own strength and abilities. All of these changes had come about due to the efforts of both Andy and Gaige. Gaige had successfully persuaded the purgeable beings to cooperate, while Andy had effectively led the purgers. Even the angels observing from above found themselves anticipating the outcome of this rare event. With no clear distinction between hunters and pre

Chapter 248: "Are we still playing?"

A gentle breeze carried an oily scent through the air. Distant roars, initially faint and unclear, gradually intensified in volume and significance. Suddenly, Gaige Feryuson found himself in an open, expansive area that left him feeling uneasy. Perplexed by his circumstances, Gaige slumped down, gazing vacantly at the sky while making feeble attempts to grasp at the mud beneath him. "Why am I in the mud?" he wondered, his words being spoken with his mouth but only echoing within his mind. As he continued to survey the peculiar scene, he struggled to recall what he might have forgotten. Just then, a powerful gust of wind tore through the space with swiftness. However, the wind seemed to be coming from his eyes, so he turned his head to the side to shield himself from it. Gaige's face stung as the mud struck him with force. It was at that moment that the open space abruptly transformed into a confined area, resembling a dungeon. "Haha! Seriously." He laughed as he finally realize
