Mark wanted to argue, and wanted to tell his Grandfather that he could not expose himself right now.

But the sadness in those old eyes, the guilt for a crime they had never committed and the regret of not being able to do something that they wanted very badly, stopped him.

He nodded and walked out of the library, thinking it was not the right time to say or do anything.

After all, there were still four days left until the weekend, so he would wait for the opportunity to convince his grandfather; having decided this, he stepped towards his room.

Immersed in his thoughts, he climbed up the flight of stairs that led to his room. But he paused for a second before entering the room, his hand frozen at the handle of the door.

He was standing in front of this door after so many years, that this duration had almost convinced him that he wouldn't be able to enter this room, ever again.

As after so many years, he was still standing at the same spot he had started walking from.
