Everyone was still a little shook by what had just happened, out of the one thousand students that started the day with them, only a mere hundred remained, they all didn't exactly know how to feel, they hadn't really interacted with most students, and hence didn't exactly have an emotional attachment to any of the expelled students, after all it was only their first day, but regardless it was obvious that many students were already acquainted with one another, it was evident for people like Earl and his friends, and Ralph and his crew, some other students also had acquaintances they got close to, but ultimately chose different decisions, even though most students didn't know each other, just the thought of having a knowing that 900 students decided to leave the school seemed surreal, many began wondering if truly they had made the right choice by choosing to stay at the cost of signing their lives away, all in the name of pursuing their 'dreams', however now was not the time to
