Ever since Veronica’s imprisonment, Azura has been having a hard time talking to her mother and uncle. It seems everything she does to help them, such as putting food in the house and keeping their finances in check. Her mother will never forgive her.

Azura takes a handful of groceries out of the lapsed bag and with a focused expression, she places fruits, vegetables into the refrigerator. There is a sound of fastening footsteps and when she faces the entrance of the kitchen, it is Agatha.

In anger, Agatha flings the paper bags on the floor and Uncle Samuel follows her inside.

Azura looks at her in shock as she tosses the paper bags filled with groceries onto the countertop. Agatha’s movements lack precision as the bags tumble onto the kitchen surface, creating a mess of scattered items.

“Mom! What is the matter with you?” Azura says, looking at her actions in shock but Agatha storms towards me.
