As the pincere sees these two attacks have been handled, it flips through the use of movement and its wings to land a downwards kick with its scaled heel. It has the feeling of a smaller bowling ball as it crashes into Tanji’s forearms, launching him back more than a metre. Following this hit, the pincere rushes forwards and aims for a low stab but this attack is futile. Tanji manages to stop it with his forearm then catch the other pincer coming flying towards his head. With the pincere’s two arms momentarily immobilised, the werewolf pulls up his left arm and throws a straight punch.

Once he does this, he predicts an incoming stab for his head so he ducks under it and evades it with relative ease. He then strikes up with a powerful right hook to actually launch the pincere off its feet but it stays airborne with its fluttering wings.
