Tanji looks at the icon with several colliding emotions. Fear. Happiness. Relief. Confusion. He doesn’t really know what to feel from this. The text then disappears and his stats are revealed in front of him.

He thinks “Definitely human stats alright.” He then glances outside his window while thinking about what is going on. He remembers the light and says in his head “Is this it? Is this a result of that light beam? This seems a little sketchy. I hope it is power though.”
Since he still feels a little weak, he decides to head to his dense kitchen to make a sandwich. He concocts the meal and puts juicy ham slices with melting cheese and some common vegetables within the thick pieces of bread.
As he finishes eating his warm and tasty meal, he notices something in the corner of his dropped vision. He gazes up and sees another notification.

He thinks in amazement of his new power. “I get a literal physical boost from just eating?! This is amazing! I never would’ve thought anything like this would exist. I’ve never even heard of it before.”
As soon as he gets up from his wooden chair, a new pop-up appears right in front of him.

[+1 BOOST TO ALL STATS]
Tanji is flabbergasted by the notifications and the system as a whole then another solitary notification takes up his empty vision.
[CHOOSE YOUR FIRST POWER]
Tanji ponders. “First power? Isn’t this already one?” He clicks on it physically but it is to no avail. He approaches the notification and tries to touch it physically but his hand seamlessly fazes right through the notification as if it isn’t even there. Tanji reacts to this with confusion and slight irritation. He thinks “How am I supposed to get the power if I can’t click it?” He retracts his hand from the odd notification and gazes at it.
He tries to accumulate a strategy to actually get what the system seems to offer. After many tries, he thinks “Urgh! Just click on it!” The notification crackles and fades. The system actually works by inner monologue and not physical speech or contact. Tanji begins to utter to himself about the system “So the notifications are only in my vision. They aren’t in the physical world. That is peculiar.”
As he finishes his quiet soliloquy-like statement, the major notification pops up in his eyes. His eyes quickly focus on the notification, beginning to read every single word displayed.
[OPTION 1: Morkblud. Gain arts and powers based on the Morkblud. Makes the user a Morkblud. OPTION 2: Ogre. Gain arts and powers based on the Ogre. Makes the user an ogre. OPTION 3: Qi. User gains power of the Old Eastern Spiritual Concept, Qi. One gains a Soul Core filled with qi that can be extracted to physically fuel the body. Enhances physical stats by +3 to start off. OPTION 4: Mana. The user gains access to the spiritual power, mana. Makes user a Mage. The user gains one elemental power to start off. Mana is stored throughout the body but can be brought through the body to make the user stronger as well as give access to their elemental power. Mana gives a physical stat boost of +3 to start off. OPTION 5: NONE]
He analyses each power and its description. He knows he can be making a big mistake if he chooses the wrong one so he decides to deeply think about which option to select. Tanji thinks “I could never be a Morkblud. Those vampire rip-offs! They made me go through so much pain I can never put someone else through that! Morkblud is off the table already. Ogre. Very powerful and large. I do get less smart though and I don’t really want that. Also I’ll be really ugly and slow. I don’t want that.”
Tanji glances down and begins to analyse the final two options. These ones interest him much more than the bland options above.
“I always loved watching the stuff from the East. It’s so much fun and the martial arts are so cool! A +3 physical stat boost is a lot! I’m guessing I can have a lot of versatility with this option. I’m keeping it in the back of my head. Mana. I kick off with an element! Same physical boost as qi.
System, what elements are there?”
The system then replies to his query [There are elements that consist of: Fire, Water, Earth, Lightning, Wind, Darkness, Light and Nature.]
“There isn’t a lot I’ll be doing with Mana that I won’t eventually be able to do with qi though. I definitely don’t wanna have anything to do with water or nature. They sound so bland and weak. I’m also estimating that qi has a lot more options of use. Maybe even elemental power as well. I’m choosing qi.”
Just before he clicks mentally, he decides to re-think over everything he’s thought and said. Silence engulfs the room but his mind is loud and rowdy. He confirms his choice within his mind and chooses it.

He smiles with happiness at his new power then feels his hair flow unwillingly. He hastily looks across his entire room then his clothes begin to calmly flow also. He looks down at his palms in confusion at the current events then notices his skin lightly glowing. He follows by quietly laughing to himself.
He comments. “Is this the qi?” It then sucks into his body and the flowing halts. His clothes and hair drop back to their original position then the qi condenses within his abdominal area without his knowledge. His Soul Core is eventually formed and he now possesses his very own qi.
He laughs to himself and says “This is something else.”
The emergence of the evening is a beautiful sight. The burning flame within the sea blue sky begins to lose its power. The flaming sun dwindles from a glowing, golden colour to a cool orange colour. The sky begins its slow and inevitable journey to darkness. No wind within the city leaves a miniature warmth across the city. Another great time to be strolling across the streets of Balssop Town and Bludby City as a whole. Following Tanji’s emergence of power, another lengthy notification pops up in his face. Tanji doesn’t show any sign of boredom and quickly locks his eyes onto the white text displayed. [GAINED QI ART: Power Fist. Striking Power and Speed increases by 30%, Area of Impact increases by 20%, 20 second cool down.] [GAINED QI ART: Qi Rush. Mass amount of qi floods through the body for 10 seconds. Physical stats increase by +12. 30 second cool down.]
The friend is a stronger Pureblood werewolf. He slashes across Tanji’s already ripped and slashed shirt then slams him into the wall behind him. Another grabs the neck of his shirt and throws him into the window. The window cracks then Tanji slowly tumbles back down to the ground. He then starts getting stomped and kicked by the different people. He falls limp then the evil group of friends take Harry and zoom down the glass hall. Tanji, after some time, gets back on his feet and quickly proceeds to swap out his bloody and ripped shirt for a new one in his bag. He has multiple spare shirts in case something happens at school like what just happened. He takes his grey schoolbag then opens the classroom door to go in there early. He holds his wounds in pain then drops down into the wooden chair that is there. He ventures deep in his thoughts. “Can I actually become stronger than them? Even I
The next day, Harry challenges him to a rematch. They instead fight in the woods to not be restricted at all. Luckily, Tanji’s Passive Art gives him a boost while here and it makes him stronger. Harry declares bravely. “If I have the chance I will kill you, human.” Tanji smirks at the declaration and says while waving his hand. “So be it.” He drops back into his fighting stance and sweeps one of his legs back. Harry rushes right at him and throws a punch to start off the fight. However, Tanji is different now when it comes to strength. He slips past the punch and lands his Power Fist to his chest. Harry spits blood right above Tanji’s head and falls back about 4 metres. He grasps his chest and blood seeps through the gaps in his teeth. He wonders. “How did he get so strong?! I’ll make sure to kill him now!!” He stands back up then crackling noises are generated by his healing factor. He grows shaggy hair across
During the nighttime, the stars cover the night sky. Rain drips across the streets and buildings of Bludby City. This gives the city a certain chill. Many are inside and if someone is outside they tend to be in a car of some sort. Tanji has some music playing across his house at the early night of around 9pm. He goes to brush his teeth but as he walks past the window, beams of moonlight directly hit his lycanthropic body. He glances outside because he literally feels it. As he gazes at the moon, he feels himself become more powerful. He says is surprise. “Moonlight makes me stronger all-round?! Now that is great!” He then begins brushing his teeth. Once he is under the moonlight once again, a notification pops up above his bed. [SUDDEN QUEST: Double Cultivation. Use an Umi Class Breathing Method while under direct moonlight.] [QUEST REWARDS: 100XP, 2 XP Points, 1 New Breathing Meth
Farholde is a town on the outskirts of Bludby City. It has less technology but isn’t really its own town. It still runs under the government of Bludby City. It is smaller and less dense. It has about 114,000 people living there. Using the city’s underground train, he can get to the city in 3 - 4 minutes. The thing is, Tanji has never been able to take the train. The city develops its technology and industry based on the power of a low level supernatural. Not a human. If he went on the train he could die from the speed and severe whiplash it causes. Now that he’s stronger, he can get on the train. The train can go at speeds of up to 600mph. This means that he can get to the town of Farholde in as little as 3 minutes. There is still some safety procedures but there are minute numbers of them. He opens the paper test and locks his eyes onto the first question. “How tall is the average Goliath.” He smirks at the question since he believes it’s easy. He might not be a supernatural but he has spent expansive volumes of time growing his knowledge on supernaturals. He answers the question with ease. “Goliaths’ height vary widely. The smallest of Goliaths can be 9 feet while the tallest can reach sizes of 100ft.” The next question is “What is one weakness that werewolves possess.” He answers quickly after reading the question. “Werewolves have a weakness to silver.” The third question is a little more developed. “Is it illegal for a vampire to take a human hostage for their blood?” He replies with his own opinion on the correct answer. “It is illegal for a human hostage to be used for their blood. However, a human citizen can be used for their human blood in whatever setting. For example, school, workWill of the Infinite Chapter 11 - Written Exam
No movement is seen from both fighters. Both are playing it safe rather than risky. Izbuk knows he’s of the prosperous Bancroft Family and Caleb knows he has amazing combined power.Caleb quickly rushes at him by leaping off of the ring. The tough and fortified ring cracks from the shear force required to propel him at such speed. He swings his right arm towards Izbuk but he ducks right under the swing. As a countermeasure, he throws an uppercut from below. It is dodged with ease. He follows with two power punches but Izbuk blocks both flawlessly. Caleb is punched hard in the bottom of his chin. His teeth slam together then he is kicked away to secure distance. He slides and skids down the gridded plain but stops himself before he plummets off of the ring.He stops himself and tries to formulate a strategy. While slowly stepping towards Iz
The first two names are displayed. The names are followed and monotonously read by the monitor. “Ivan Cole vs. Varvak Pirecrown.” Ivan is a slightly diluted werewolf that is around 6’0. He weighs about 80kg and is 10-11% body fat. This means he has a very muscular figure for someone of his age. Varvak is 5’10 and has a sleek build. His hair is pure white and his eyes are a dirty grey colour. He seems weak from underwhelming physique and the werewolf underestimates him because of this.Ivan chuckles patronisingly. He remarks “Your skinnier than the humans! How dare you try and fight me!” Varvak doesn’t say anything malicious back at him but just says “Let’s see if you’ll be saying that after the fight.” They then prepare themselves. Ivan’s eyes dimly glow with the werewolf’s standard golden colour while his fangs simultaneously protrude from his mouth. He reveals his hands to Varvak as
