The friend is a stronger Pureblood werewolf. He slashes across Tanji’s already ripped and slashed shirt then slams him into the wall behind him. Another grabs the neck of his shirt and throws him into the window. The window cracks then Tanji slowly tumbles back down to the ground. He then starts getting stomped and kicked by the different people. He falls limp then the evil group of friends take Harry and zoom down the glass hall.
Tanji, after some time, gets back on his feet and quickly proceeds to swap out his bloody and ripped shirt for a new one in his bag. He has multiple spare shirts in case something happens at school like what just happened. He takes his grey schoolbag then opens the classroom door to go in there early. He holds his wounds in pain then drops down into the wooden chair that is there.
He ventures deep in his thoughts. “Can I actually become stronger than them? Even If I can’t, it won’t stop me trying. Not after everything they’ve done to me!”

As he opens the stats tab, he notices a section he has no knowledge of. It is simply displayed as ‘XP points.’ He talks to the system using his inner monologue “What’s an XP point?” The system replies to his query.
“The XP Point or the ‘Experience Point’ is a virtual currency within the system that allows the user to upgrade certain stats. 1 XP Point can upgrade one stat by +1.”
Tanji complies with the system’s knowledge and almost feels stupid about how he couldn’t get it. He then follows by putting 2 of the virtual points into strength and one into Constitution.
He opens his newly improved stats and gazes over each one.

Defence: 4
Constitution: 7
Control: 78%
Intelligence: 4
Average human male has stats of 3 - 6)
Species: Half-Blood (NP)
HP [12/30]
XP Points: 0
He smiles from the fact his constitution is higher than that of the average male then continues his day.
A few days pass and he is cultivating his power. Through some minor sudden quests, he has racked up a good 70 or so XP. This places him at Level 4.
Right after this, a pop up appears in his face.
[NEW ART: 3 Lions Shield. Defence stat increased by +10. Arm Durability increased by 30%.]
“Wow! This means if my defence is 4 now, this can make my stat 14! Wow! I guess my arm durability makes that even better too.” He mentions.
After the last period, he gets some things from his locker to leave school. Marcus Dragunov stumbles upon him and clenches his fist. Smokey fire is released from his veiny fists and the noise already informs Tanji of his presence. He turns to see his glowing orange eyes. Dark green scales cloak around his right fist. To follow, claws slowly protrude through the rock-hard scales. He clenches his fist and goes in to punch him right in his neck. Tanji raises his forearms and then they begin to glow slightly. As the punch hits him, he tanks the hit and only jerks back a little. Marcus looks in confusion at the unbelievable sight. He has just taken a straight punch from him. How could this even be possible?
He slowly rotates his open hand then flames engulf his hand. He clenches his fist and Tanji opens his eyes wider. He thinks to himself. “I’m still on cool down! I can’t get hit by that!” He gets gut punched then he drops to both knees. Marcus replies by stating “Do not try and test me, Tanji. You know you’re alive because I pity you, right?” Tanji prepares to retaliate but he calms himself. He knows he can still get seriously hurt if he tries to fight back. He nods while looking down at the carpeted floor then Marcus walks away with his group. He gets up onto one knee almost instantly then back onto his feet in a few seconds. If this was him without his power, he would’ve been devastated by that punch.
More time passes and he notices the minor quests begin to dwindle. The amount of minor quests given decrease the higher the level you get. After a whole week, he is only halfway through Level 4. He eventually gets fed up of the slow progress and requests info on how to get stronger faster.
“You can get more combat training through increasing the amount of fights you get into. You can become a supernatural specie. You can learn the Heavenly Breathing Method and nurture one’s Soul Core.”
“No I can’t fight anyone. Nope there’s no one that would want to make me one. Heavenly Breathing Method? Explain.” He comments within his mind.
“The Heavenly Breathing Method is a way to gain qi strength through chanting a certain passage and slowly breathing. There are 3 classes for the Heavenly Breathing Method. The Umi Class. Slow and Steady. This promotes slow and consistent qi growth. The Kaen Class. This promotes quick qi strength growth but makes it harder for the user to keep up with the power growth. The power growth is also quite inconsistent. Then there is the Guntai Class. This class promotes chanting while performing a certain bodily sequence. This promotes physical strength and control but not much strength. All 3 classes should be used together in moderation.”
He notes what was said and replies. “Hmm. Seems cool. I want the Umi Class!” The system replies with “What Umi Class Breathing Method does the user want?”
He says monotonously. “What are there to choose from?”
“Shiroiumi - FREE, Akaumi - 500 XP, Kiumi - 750 XP.”
He goes for the free one since he has no where near the amount of XP required for even the Akaumi Breathing Method.
A white book spawns in his hand. He comments sarcastically on how he can actually touch the book then he opens the pages. The main passages are on the first few pages then info on qi and how it reacts to the breathing method is on the next few pages. He reads the needed pages for the method then recites over what should be said. He remembers the Breathing Method then eventually puts two and two together.
He performs the Shiroiumi Breathing Method. Hs releases as much qi as possible then it flows violently around his body as he does it. He opens one eye momentarily to look at the qi then closes it. His muscles slightly enlarge and his hair starts to flow from the qi’s influence.
He goes over the breathing method multiple times and takes about 20 minutes to finish.

The next day, Harry challenges him to a rematch. They instead fight in the woods to not be restricted at all. Luckily, Tanji’s Passive Art gives him a boost while here and it makes him stronger. Harry declares bravely. “If I have the chance I will kill you, human.” Tanji smirks at the declaration and says while waving his hand. “So be it.” He drops back into his fighting stance and sweeps one of his legs back. Harry rushes right at him and throws a punch to start off the fight. However, Tanji is different now when it comes to strength. He slips past the punch and lands his Power Fist to his chest. Harry spits blood right above Tanji’s head and falls back about 4 metres. He grasps his chest and blood seeps through the gaps in his teeth. He wonders. “How did he get so strong?! I’ll make sure to kill him now!!” He stands back up then crackling noises are generated by his healing factor. He grows shaggy hair across
During the nighttime, the stars cover the night sky. Rain drips across the streets and buildings of Bludby City. This gives the city a certain chill. Many are inside and if someone is outside they tend to be in a car of some sort. Tanji has some music playing across his house at the early night of around 9pm. He goes to brush his teeth but as he walks past the window, beams of moonlight directly hit his lycanthropic body. He glances outside because he literally feels it. As he gazes at the moon, he feels himself become more powerful. He says is surprise. “Moonlight makes me stronger all-round?! Now that is great!” He then begins brushing his teeth. Once he is under the moonlight once again, a notification pops up above his bed. [SUDDEN QUEST: Double Cultivation. Farholde is a town on the outskirts of Bludby City. It has less technology but isn’t really its own town. It still runs under the government of Bludby City. It is smaller and less dense. It has about 114,000 people living there. Using the city’s underground train, he can get to the city in 3 - 4 minutes. The thing is, Tanji has never been able to take the train. The city develops its technology and industry based on the power of a low level supernatural. Not a human. If he went on the train he could die from the speed and severe whiplash it causes. Now that he’s stronger, he can get on the train. The train can go at speeds of up to 600mph. This means that he can get to the town of Farholde in as little as 3 minutes. There is still some safety procedures but there are minute numbers of them. He opens the paper test and locks his eyes onto the first question. “How tall is the average Goliath.” He smirks at the question since he believes it’s easy. He might not be a supernatural but he has spent expansive volumes of time growing his knowledge on supernaturals. He answers the question with ease. “Goliaths’ height vary widely. The smallest of Goliaths can be 9 feet while the tallest can reach sizes of 100ft.” The next question is “What is one weakness that werewolves possess.” He answers quickly after reading the question. “Werewolves have a weakness to silver.” The third question is a little more developed. “Is it illegal for a vampire to take a human hostage for their blood?” He replies with his own opinion on the correct answer. “It is illegal for a human hostage to be used for their blood. However, a human citizen can be used for their human blood in whatever setting. For example, school, workWill of the Infinite Chapter 11 - Written Exam

The first two names are displayed. The names are followed and monotonously read by the monitor. “Ivan Cole vs. Varvak Pirecrown.” Ivan is a slightly diluted werewolf that is around 6’0. He weighs about 80kg and is 10-11% body fat. This means he has a very muscular figure for someone of his age. Varvak is 5’10 and has a sleek build. His hair is pure white and his eyes are a dirty grey colour. He seems weak from underwhelming physique and the werewolf underestimates him because of this.Ivan chuckles patronisingly. He remarks “Your skinnier than the humans! How dare you try and fight me!” Varvak doesn’t say anything malicious back at him but just says “Let’s see if you’ll be saying that after the fight.” They then prepare themselves. Ivan’s eyes dimly glow with the werewolf’s standard golden colour while his fangs simultaneously protrude from his mouth. He reveals his hands to Varvak as

Some fights go on but eventually, Tanji’s time comes. From the monitor, a sound is played. “NEXT MATCH. TANJI BJORNULFSSON VS LIAM BARAEK!”Tanji exhales slowly and thinks “This is it. Time to prove myself!!”He stands onto the large, white ring. His opponent, Liam, steps up on the ring also. He is about his height and muscle. This time, a school teacher tells the fight to start “3.. 2.. 1.. FIGHT!”Liam smirks and says “I remember you. You’re the human from Balssop.” Tanji replies. “Well I don’t know you.”Liam laughs condescendingly and says “Of course not I didn’t go to the school! I just helped try to kill you.” Tanji clenches his fists
“Y-yes.. thank you.” The girl says with deep gratitude, reaching her hand to her stomach to remove agonising and bloody wooden chunks from her wounds. Her breath is heavy but swiftly, it returns to normal and her wounds seal up. “Why are these guys coming for you?” Tanji asks, walking past the corpses. It certainly confuses him since the assassins seemed so eager to kill her. They saw his strength but didn’t even begin to flee and continues trying to face him full throttle. The girl turns her superhuman ear to the village beside them and using her senses, she realises that no one will be able to hear her. Therefore, she turns with a more calm and eased tone, beginning to sit on the grass below. Seeing her do this, he kind of just follows along and sits down as well. “Have you heard of the Oksoa family?” She asks. This statement immediately sparks up the name ‘Otxoa’ in his mind. Due to this, he deduces that this family is a subordinate family to the Otxoa werewolf family. Maybe,
Felipe feels weak and frail, dropping to a knee after getting hit by this attack. Even though his surface-level bruise has faded, his inner wounds are still healing. On the other hand, Tanji is flat on his back, reverting back to his ordinary form. His energy storage has been depleted almost completely and he can barely keep his eyes open. Alphonso, seeing the 2 warriors unwilling to fight, grabs his sceptre beside him and taps it.“The fight is over.. Good job, son. Tanji, very good job, I was not expecting you to put my son out of commission like that. I really am curious about the warriors of the frontworld.” Alphonso states, throwing 2 elixirs to the warriors. The flask-shaped bottles are filled with a green, luminous liquid that upon drinking, leaves a minty t

Like a bruiser, he throws his body into a punch and it seems to be going right on target for the area and ultimately for contact.Even so, Felipe swats away this fist and throws a punch of his own, knocking off an entire 5 HP off his remaining points.“RAAAH!!!” Felipe roars, throwing his final punch of his art, launching Tanji into a pillar behind him.On contact, the strong structure shatters and breaks apart, throwing down small chunks and sharp fragments of rock onto Tanji’s back.HP [24/160]

After a few hours, the group do return to the village. Tanji is now completely fine and has actually taken the chance of taking a few resources on his own back.“Damn it, I missed out on that quest. I’ll need to get stronger to fight the beasts of this world if that was just a C+ rated beast. I wonder what an A rated beast would be like.” Tanji thinks, as he walks on with the team. The group stroll past the palace and receive applauds from the villagers that are simply doing their daily duties for survival. The guards at the front of the palace nod and bow upon seeing their fellow knights walk past them, with the knights nodding back. They all reach a large settlement, with campfires and wooden buildings. Electricity starts to circulate around his body and then surge into his body, giving him his classic blue tint. Also, the components across his arms utilise this new power source and actually become more efficient and powerful, from a far better energy source.“Wow, this thing is draining my qi quite a bit. I’ll need to be quick with this then!” Tanji thinks, charging towards the bear.Every powerful stomp-like stride he makes rumbles the ground and swiftly, he slices at the side of the bear. Before it can react, he steps away and dodges a violent swing, using his dagger to slow down by stabbing his sword right into the mud below.Immediately, he leaps off his feet and dodges another attack, activating his sword’s inscription in the process.

These people tend to be quite low-level in skill and specialise in power and strength to handle the weight. Some of the porters are half ogres, some are common werewolves. Will of the Infinite
