DISCUSSION

After dark, Adimas and Lukman headed to the factory on foot. The night was quite quiet. The sound of crickets chirping to each other set the tone for their journey. Lukman turned on the flashlight he was carrying. Adimas, meanwhile, walked behind while carrying two disposable lunch boxes.

There was no additional light. Lukman's flashlight was the only thing illuminating the path ahead of them. As far as the eye could see, the path was very dark. Occasionally, Adimas' hand brushed away the weeds that touched his body. Lukman also did the same thing.

Both Lukman and Adimas could hear the sound of their own steps. The path is a quick access to the factory, both sides lined with weeds as tall as a human body.

Occasionally their feet stepped on pebbles or dried tree branches. The sound of twigs breaking or pebbles being stepped on, dispels the silence that reigns for a while.

"Bang, why don't we use the car?" Lukman asked. His shirtless forearm began to itch.<
