Chapter sixteen

The ground trembled and it began to crack. I tried to run out of there, but I was suddenly stunned and fell to the ground when a tree root wrapped around my right leg. It pulled me away from the door while I tried to kick it. I looked around and endeavored to reach for my sword, but it wasn't easy the first time I tried. Until the ground is slowly sinking and at any moment I can fall into that deep abyss. Perhaps this is one of his plans, and it is also one of the pitfalls he has created. However, I was not discouraged, but I crawled as the tree roots set out to pull me from my feet. I used my finger nails to make a grip on the ground, but it still wasn't enough, so I unexpectedly ended up with that tree sinking. But it didn't end there because I was able to hold on to the ground while lifting that tree from my feet. It's so heavy, and it looks like my feet are going to cut off if I don't remove the root that's wrapped around my feet. I got a scratch and my blood started to drip becau
