“What is with this creature?”

Amelia finally broke the uncomfortable silence they had between them.

‘Why am I like this?’

Amelia felt unsettled when she heard Jason lived somewhere else with other humans; especially since she didn’t know what he did. She wanted to hear it from Jason’s mouth. She knew Jason had another life in his world, but Amelia had enough people who told her about Jason’s life in that place. He had no other family or anyone special. His only family in both worlds was them.

‘How should I ask him? Why isn’t he telling me anything?’

She felt increasingly nervous when she thought if they were close enough for her to ask about his personal matters.

‘Well… You expect me to take care of our child. And you expect to hug me whenever you feel like it, you better have answers for me.’

“I found her in the simulation. Honestly, I do not know how she made it back here. I mean… I didn’t even think any of that was real.”

Jason answered Amelia without taking his eyes off Hanna.
