“What the… What kind of animal is that?”
“Rude Grandpa! Tin man is not an animal.”
“Ah….”
Xanders lost all words when he saw Hanna’s hearty expression. It perfectly matched the face Amelia had from time to time. Sometimes Xanders wondered if these two were actual mother and daughter.
“Well… It is an advanced robot.”
Jason wondered if Hanna would rename PX-5, again. She changed it several times until she thought the name ‘Tin Man’ from the famous fairytale would fit it. He told her the story a while back, but he didn’t expect Hanna to name one of the most advanced Ai-based robots based on that story.
“Where did you find it?”
Unlike Xanders who had no idea what a robot was, everyone else from Earth had heavy expressions on their faces.
They knew what a robot was, and they also saw how this one behaved.
PX-5 hid from them when they first came to Amelia’s house and it spent its time observing them hiding behind Jason before coming out. The robot reacted extremely well to Hanna’s words, and it was very gentle with the little girl.
Despite the meaningless beeping sound it made, the robot seemed to understand everything very well.
It was the most advanced robot they have ever witnessed, and this was inside The Endless where the technology got overshadowed by magic. None of them had any idea where such a robot would come from.
“So… Where did you find it, Jason?”
Scott presented the million-dollar question.
He understood why there was a call for an emergency secret meeting for the top brass of the Crystal Pulse. This subject was even more sensitive than Jason’s status as a powerful Wizard.
He couldn’t imagine how the players would react if they saw this robot. Even if the normal players would take it as another aspect of The Endless, people who knew the truth would obviously go into a panic mood.
Jason would soon be the centre of attention, again, Also, this time, they wouldn’t spare anyone related to Jason to get to him, and every one of them would be in grave danger. Whatever Jason did yesterday without logging out of the game allowed him to unlock another secret of this mysterious alien world.
Scott had so many questions he wanted to ask, but there was a limit to the things he could ask Jason. After all, Jason was just a player who didn’t know the truth behind The Endless. Of course, Scott knew Jason wasn’t a simple man, but it wouldn’t be even for Jason to handle the truth.
After all, learning their home was at a time limit before completely vanishing wasn’t going to be tolerable news even to mighty Jason Hope.
“He found it from somewhere he shouldn’t be.”
“Hm. Hm. Daddy left Hanna and Mommy here and went alone.”
Hanna didn’t stop playing, but she hummed in acknowledgement of what her mommy said. She loved her new toys, but she didn’t like her daddy leaving them behind all of a sudden.
Amelia’s words were enough to shut down most of the others from asking anything further from Jason.
Almost everyone, including the bodyguards and others who stayed by Amelia’s house, heard her furious voice from before. It was obvious she wasn’t happy about what Jason did to bring this robot to Light Shone.
‘I should ask him, later.’
Dane made a mental note to ask Jason about the incident.
‘But will it be too much? A world full of magic is already unbearable, but what if we have to deal with advanced technology as well?’
He suddenly felt a headache, wondering how they could survive this world in the future. The only option seemed to be sticking to Jason’s side, who seemed to be in control of everything.
‘This is simply ridiculous. Jason is a player who doesn’t even know what is going on in The Endless. And we, who know what is going on, seem to be lagging behind.’
He knew Jason was ahead of them, but his rate of improvement seemed to be getting faster. Simply, none of them knew this magical world had advanced technology.
“What are you going to do with that thing?”
Xanders wondered what was happening to his small village. Everything seemed to be getting out of control, weird monsters, mighty wizards, and aliens.
“We have to keep it hidden for the time being.”
“What about its power source?”
“Oh. A miniature nuclear fusion reactor. There is nothing to worry about power.”
Jason raised his brow with excitement. Only he knew how long it took him to go into nuclear fusion and to create a version small enough to fit into PX-5. It no longer needed solar energy to sustain itself.
“But what can it do, My Lord?”
Garth, Jason’s butler, had no idea what nuclear fusion meant, and he didn’t care. Only those who came from Earth looked stunned by the revelation.
“Basically anything. PX-5 is designed to collect garbage, but it can act as a building robot and a combat robot on different occasions. I mean… Tin Man.”
Jason saw Hanna’s pouty expression when he called PX-5 by its original name.
“You should stop gloating about machines and focus on your magic.”
Amelia’s voice dragged his attention away from the inspiration he felt when he spoke about PX-5.
He saw her scolding eyes focusing on him.
Jason knew her worry wasn’t without a cause. After spending five centuries focused on technology, he found it difficult to focus back on magic after coming back.
‘Sigh. It will take some time, but I guess I won’t have many options left.’
He knew Amelia wouldn’t hesitate to push him when necessary.
Jason hesitated a bit before taking out the drawing he prepared before.
“Here. We need to build this.”
“A Mana isolation chamber? Are you trying to imprison Grandmasters?”
Xanders who finally understood a thing going on felt excited. The design of the chamber Jason presented them was the only thing he understood so far. Although he had to be wary of this weird creature, he believed Jason and Amelia wouldn’t leave anything harmful around their child.
“That is a good point, Mr Xanders. But no! I don’t want to imprison anyone. This is for another purpose.”
“And what is that?”
Xanders frowned.
“You will learn in time. For now, this one also has to be a secret.”
Jason shrugged, wondering how he should bring up the training methods to these people. They already had the implants, and Amelia assumed them to be acceptable. Even though he expected some compliments from her, he knew the technology he developed may not be at the standards of the real behemoths.
“Sigh. Do you want us to build chambers out of Magic stones and hide them from everyone…?”
“Exactly!”
“You are crazy, do you know that?”
Xanders didn’t feel amused at all. He had no idea what Jason wanted to do. Whatever it was, it wasn’t easy.
…
“We shouldn’t have joined the humans.”
“What are we supposed to do? Only the human empire was safe.”
“Now look at what they are doing?”
“We have to go to war every couple of centuries.”
…
“Enough!”
The man on the throne roared in anger.
It was the same room where a member of the court once brought a portrait of Amelia and Hanna. They were the ones who looked for the legend of Jason’s mutated form.
However, today they all looked stressed. The endless wars against human galactic kingdoms were putting a massive strain on their civilization.
Internal wars between different galactic kingdoms weren’t rare, but their race got targeted many times in the past centuries. After all, they were once enemies of the human empire.
The king’s voice suppressed all others in the room, but no one, not even the king looked happy.
“Your Majesty! Your Majesty!”
A soldier rushed into the room in a hurry.
“What is it?”
“An envoy from the Human Empire, Your Majesty! The Emperor has granted diplomatic immunity to our kingdom.”
“What?”
The king mechanically stood up from his throne, and his tail swung like a whip.
“Yes, Your Majesty. The envoy is waiting for an audience.”
Everyone looked excited beyond belief.
An immunity meant the other kingdoms couldn’t directly attack their planet and the colonies. The war was possible, but it would require a formal challenge before anything. This was basically giving them a lifeline to survive against the other kingdoms of the empire.
‘But why now? Why did they give us immunity now? The emperor rejected this for centuries out of fear of the backlash from the humans.’

- Deploying ships for the safety of the elder sister
A hidden computer screen flooded with various messages before an image of a young boy flashed into the room. He looked at the woman who resembled Amelia he saw in Jason’s drawing. However, this woman had several different features along with strength way beyond Jason at his peak.
“The First Father is a human, but he is old. In fact, he should be the oldest of them all. Why is this data mismatching with everything?”
He whispered in a thoughtful tone.
Jason’s biological data and the information passed through different brain systems didn’t match each other.
“He is a part of the other missions. Then, First Father, how old are you?”
He developed his people and became someone powerful enough to influence the entire human empire, yet he still couldn't find the true origin of the First Father. His data ran back all the way to the first era, which shouldn’t be possible with his biological age.
“This isn’t simple time isolation. He is old.”
There was a complicated look on the young boy’s face for a moment before he vanished.
'Spells, Magic, Wizards… I feel like I don't remember anything anymore.'Jason sat in his room in silence. After the others left, Amelia dragged him to his room and left together with Hanna to sleep. He knew what she did was right, and he had to get his focus back on magic. No matter how much he knew about Ai and machines, his path was to become a wizard. ‘Sigh. Let’s see my stats.’Jason felt rusty as he tapped the armband. Since it displayed no information during the simulation, he only used it to see the time. It had been centuries since he looked at his stats.Jason HopeStrength - 300Agility - 298Endurance - 580Physical Defence - 35%Magical Defence - 25%Mental Resistance - 35%Body condition - 100.0%Magic Affinity - 100%Simply his stats went up a bit according to the six Magic nodes he opened during the last simulation. Other than that, there were no notable changes. He expected this to happen since his mutation didn’t change. ‘Sigh. How do I go past the nine
“Jason, are you sure about this?”“Huh? Of course, I designed it.”Jason inspected the Mana isolation chamber carefully for the tenth time. Originally, it would have taken a few more days to build a single isolation chamber, but it was different with PX-5 around. He updated PX-5 to be a builder robot in his early days on Titan. Later he updated PX-5 even further, but he only made improvements without removing PX-5’s original functions. There were six similar chambers completed within two days, and the limit came with the time for processing Magic stones and their availability. “Are you sure?”“Yeah!”Jason checked on the auxiliary magic he engraved in the chamber to create air for breathing and the other circle to suck out the Mana from the chamber. The isolation chamber looked like a room entirely made of pale blue glass. It was enough for a person to stay inside comfortably, and there were no other items inside the room. If they were to put a Master warrior or a Grandmaster insid
“This energy… It makes me feel like I can advance further. Maybe I can reach the Peak Grandmaster level.” Xanders whispered with hope-filled eyes. “Too shallow.” “Huh?” He looked at Amelia with widened eyes. “Old man, if it is just Peak Grandmaster level, why do you think we are trying so hard to hide it?” “Ah… You… Do you mean… Is there more?” “You will learn when you get there.” Amelia’s answer left Xanders stunned. “But… Mistress… Why did you teach us this?” Garth had an entirely different idea about this natural energy. He knew Amelia was strong, and he felt Amelia’s strength came from this energy. He wondered why Amelia and Jason taught them this secret technique. “He needs an army.” Amelia’s eyes darted to Jason, who was busy playing with Hanna. “An Army… For the war?” Bruce, who recorded the entire thing sounded excited. “You know nothing about war, aren’t you?” Amelia’s cold response left Bruce speechless for a moment. “The real wars on Yuriel aren’t based

“How can they say this is a game?”“Yeah. Which part of this looks like a game?”“Well. I am sure no one is doing newbie looting in The Endless.”“Really? Why?”“Why? What are they going to loot? “Master. We are here.”“Hm… Yeah. Let me come out.”Coal knew they reached Light Shone. It was just that the pressure was too much for him to come out. This time, they were here to stay for more than a month in this remote village. The rainy season was here, and the cold winds from the distant mountains greeted him. He could hear the cheerful voices of the people from outside. Unlike a year ago, this place was full of life. He almost lost his life about a year ago when he came here, but that wasn’t what worried him. It was the changes he saw in the Brodice Kingdom. They amassed their armies and he even heard the buildup of siege weapons. The war approached this peaceful land at an alarming rate. Coal wondered if he would soon lose the business he built up with this remote village at the edge of the world. He was the one who brought the invaluable products of the Dark Forest into the rest of the world. ‘It is definitely going to be a war.’The day he met the strange alien who sav
“Master, it is all true. They are distributing fertile land to the people of Light Shone. Since there are not enough people to cultivate all the land, they give aliens their points for cultivating.” “They are giving land for free?” Coal raised his head and looked at his trusted aid with surprise. “Land is free, but the owners have to give thirty percent of their harvest to the Crystal Pulse for the next twenty years. And….” “And?” “They have already cleared the land. These people just have to start farming. But they can’t do anything else in those pieces of land except for farming.” “No wonder everyone is looking so joyful. But why hasn’t anyone made this public?” “I only heard this in the new pub, Master. They are not trying to gain fame, it seems. Natives are even more impressed with their silence.” The newly opened pub already reached the peak of popularity within days. It was among the new buildings they opened in the village. Since there were no other pubs or bars in Ligh
“Young Master, our shops are earning a good bit of points. We are doing very well here.”“As expected of them.”Kaden nodded his head in satisfaction. For the time being, the progress he saw there made him happy. His small hotel room was clean, and there was a special food delivery service directly to his room. There was a special communication device in his room for him to contact the front desk where they would send someone to attend to his needs. If not, they could go out and eat at any nearby restaurant. If the local delicacies from the hotel weren't enough, the delivery service would bring them food from outside as well. Also, what impressed him the most was the availability of this alien staff in this establishment. They had someone available to contact any guest even at night, and they did a wonderful job. This arrangement greatly differed from how the Inns worked, and Kaden felt these services were worth the price. He thought the exorbitant price was a ripoff, but he reali
