“You… You are Jason.”

“I am.”

Jason smiled at the man as he finally opened his eyes.

He felt relieved to slip away from Amelia’s fiery gaze.

“My… My arm….”

The player panicked as he hurriedly inspected his arm.

“The wound….”

“It is gone now. Honestly, it wasn’t a wound. It was an infection.”

Jason shrugged.

“What exactly happened? I don’t think you were in Spider Mine.”

The lower level of the Spider Mine was a forbidden place. Even if it weren’t, very few would dare to wander into the swarm of spiders.

“No, Jason. I was working in the Northern Mine. We had a small quack at the lowest level, and a new crack popped up in the floor.”

“And you were the closest to it?”
