106. An Eternity

"Doctor, how soon can she be released?" Leonard asked.

It's been three days since Elsie came back to them and all that was on Leonard's mind was on how to take her away from there because of her father. He knew that by now, her father would have already known where she was because the information wasn't hard for him to come by. All he wanted was to get her out of there as fast as possible.

"Judging from my reports from our observation, she should be good to go by tomorrow," he said.

"Okay, that's good," Helene said.

She had been with them ever since they brought Elsie to the hospital and Leonard loved that his mother was passionate about her healing. She took Elsie as her own daughter and he knew that they wouldn't have any problems in the future.

"We have been able to flush out every trace of heroin in her system and now, we hope for a full recovery but ideally, tomorrow, she'll be free to go," he said.

"Thank you, sir," Elsie smiled from her hospital bed.
