32. Power Play

''Tell me who your parents are! I want to know who they are.'' Edgar's mother shouted.

Even with the way she spoke, Leonard was not fazed. He knew that the only thing she could do was to shout and shout and that would never take anything away from him.

''My parents will only speak to the principal and not you,'' Leonard said.

She hissed, stomping about with great hatred on her face. Leonard knew that she was livid, and there was no amount of pacifying that any of them could do that would actually appease her.

''Please, ma'am… let's take this into the office.'' the principal insisted. Unwilling to have drama happening right outside his office.

Edgar, who stood at a corner, looking at everything that transpired, stared at Leonard with a look of disgust on his face.

''I told you, no one messes with me and goes scot-free.'' he mocked.

If he had his way, Leonard would have hit him so hard that he wouldn't be able to sit for a week.
