Later that day, as Leonard walked through the crowded hallways, his heart pounded in his chest, anxiety and anger battling within him. He knew he was very close to where Susan was, he could feel it and soon, he heard her voice.

He finally spotted Susan near their lockers, engrossed in a conversation with a group of friends. He took a deep breath and approached her, his face a mixture of determination and a bit of fear. Susan looked up and their eyes met, but there was no hint of remorse or understanding in her gaze. Instead, there was a flicker of something else, something Leonard couldn't quite place.

"Hey, Susan," Leonard said, his voice filled with a mix of hurt and anger. "Can we talk?"

Susan sighed, rolling her eyes. "What's there to talk about, Leonard? You've caused enough trouble already. I can't believe I actually believed Edgar's side of the story. You should be ashamed of yourself."
