Chapter 72

James walked into Zach's apartment without being invited, carrying two large suitcases. Ignoring Zach's question as well as his disappointed expression.

Zach just took a deep breath. He remembered his father's lack of concern since Kinanti's death. More specifically, the fake death of his mother.

Zach wondered if James was aware that Kinanti was still alive. Should he ask James? Could it be that James knew but didn't want to tell him?

He couldn't ask that right now. They weren't close enough to talk. In fact, James had previously expressed refusal to respond to Zach's question.

However, Lua, who had been watching their interaction, recognized and saw the sadness on James' face when he turned away from Zach. As James faced Zach, his face became expressionless.

"Aren't your parents looking for you? They'd be furious if they found out you shared a house with a man," James warned Lua.

"My parents are no longer alive. Only Daddy Zach... I mean, he's the only friend I've ever had. Zach has
