17. The Wounded Waist.

Henry ignored her gibberish and began sorting himself out. He discovered he had to collect the company's assets before fully beginning his work as an analyst.

He grabbed his phone and walked out of the office heading to the HOD's office which was on the two hundred and twenty ninth floor.

On his way, he mistakenly stumbled into a man as the man groaned and fell to his knees.

"I'm really sorry," he said as he knelt down and picked up his files from the floor. He was about to hand them over when he saw drops of blood on the floor.

But he didn't think he hit the man that hard to draw blood? The man got up slowly as he collected the files from Henry's hand.

"Thank you..." the man began to say, when their eyes met. He quickly looked down and his expression changed mildly.

"It's alright," Henry didn't think much into it and waved it off. But he immediately turned back when saw the man walking with his hands on his left waist.
