Henry heaved a weary sigh. He would just let her think whatever she wanted to about his wealth, because he knew it was pointless to argue with her about it.

The following morning, he woke up groggily and was about to head to the kitchen when he noticed a meal already served in the dining room.

His eyebrows raised in astonishment. "You cooked this? Already?" He glanced at the clock and it was 6 am.

Irene nodded with a serene smile. "Well, when I'm in a different place aside from my home, I usually wake up early."

A smirk tugged at his lips; understanding her routine, he chuckled softly. She had finished her meal and stood up, cleaning the dining table.

"Let me get your food..."

"No need," he cut her off firmly. He wasn't going to eat her food because he didn't feel too hungry. He would just help her with whatever she asked him to do.

Her brows furrowed slightly, a bit taken aback by his response, but she figured out that he wasn't an early eater.
