Henry stood there, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Was he seeing things, or was this a dream?

How could Simon be standing before him?

He was definitely sure that Simon had been captured, and they planned to extract information from him about his boss by any means necessary.

Now how was he here?

"Why are you so surprised to see me? That expression on your face doesn't suit you," Simon sneered, his hands casually tucked into his pockets.

"Why don't you just respectfully die and spare me the trouble of wanting to kill you, huh?" Simon mockingly taunted, causing Henry to scoff in response.

"I can see it now, you managed to escape," Henry muttered, his tone laced with incredulity.

"Escape? From where, exactly?" Simon inquired, a smile playing on his lips. Henry was skeptical; he knew for sure that Simon was held captive by his family's soldiers.

Yet, here he stood in front of him, and Henry couldn't understand how he had managed to break free.
