Looking at Henry, Irene decided to test the waters.

"He is wearing a wristwatch worth a million dollars, okay? So don't just frown your face," Irene remarked. She clicked her tongue and couldn't help but break into a playful chuckle.

"Are you mocking me?" Henry asked with a straight face, a faint smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

"No, Henry, I'm not mocking you," Irene replied, her laughter bubbling up. "You just have the pride of a wealthy man, even though you're not one. But hey, I must admit, you have good connections, and I admire that," she explained, chuckling. She averted her gaze away, before quickly focusing on him again, searching his face for any unusual expression.
